Scroll bars in iPhone app

Is there a particular reason why the IceTV iPhone app (and perhaps the iOS app in general) doesn't have scroll bars in any of its screens that have scrollable lists? If not, could they be added?

I'm guessing it is because, many years ago, no one thought they were necessary (and an added complexity).  It would be a significant update and therefore a significant cost, and you are the only user to ever ask so it's doubtful it will happen.

@MD, I have never considered the need for, and usefulness of, scroll bars for the iPhone and iPad apps. On older phones with much smaller screens it could be difficult to implement. Even if is was there, not sure that I would remember to use it. It is only since I got an iPhone 16 plus that I enjoyed using the IceTV iPhone App - due to having 5 devices on both accounts.
