Icetv channel scan

Hi all, I have a new TV that I have connected my Ice box to. It's been playing up for a while so I did a factory reset today. Whilst reinstalling, the TV channel scan didn't pick up any free to air channels, nor any radio channels. Could this be the TV the Icebox is connected to is a smart TV and I have the dongle plugged into the Icebox? I have this TV plugged into a coax point so I can watch free to air TV but the Icebox doesn't seem to like this new television. Hope someone can help!

Hi Stephanie, my first advice is to ensure that the IceBox tuners are connected to the splitter, and the splitter is connected via an aerial cable to the aerial wall socket, as shown in our setup guide found under Help - IceBox on our website.  Also the TV can be connected to the splitter as shown in that setup  guide should you ever need free-to-air TV on the new TV.  Also ensure the little "adapters" on the splitter are not loose but "squeezing by fingers" tight.
