Last one left was the forum, it's now been updated as well.

When I look at the certificate for the forum page, it seems to have only been renewed for a little over six months. Is that intentional?

Nothing intentional but I'm 77 on May 30 so something has to give at some time.

Nope, it was renewed for 12 months, but it looks to have been issued incorrectly, but it's valid until they get back to me.

They got back to me, so the maximum validity for a certificate now is 200 days. This change happened on March 15, but the goal is to have a phased reduction in validity until the max industry wide validity is only 47 days by 2029.

Since Monday when I click on "forum" my browser (safari) warns me that the certificate can't be verified and gives me some options. One of which is to visit the site anyway, which I do as I can recall this happening before, some time ago.
I might add that my browser is not the latest version. older system and not receiving updates anymore. Not sure if that would play a part in getting the afore mentioned pop-up.

It 'could' be, I have tried on the latest Edge and Chrome and both are coming up fine.

Maybe check on your phone as well and see if the same thing happens.

I use android phone. Testing on iPad I had no warning pop up..

Safari pop up gives me the option to view the certificate, I did so , then googled "sectigo public server authentication".
I found this;
"Sectigo is migrating to new Public Root CAs (R46/E46) for SSL/TLS, with migration initiated between April and June 2025. These new roots, particularly the Sectigo Public Server Authentication Root R46, ensure high-level security and trust across modern browsers.

 *Key requirement: Ensure your server sends the correct intermediate certificate bundle to avoid trust issues, particularly on Apple devices.*

 Solution: Reissue certificates using older trust chains (like UserTrust RSA) if compatibility with legacy clients is required."

Since the update to the sites various security certificates on the 4th May, the weekly emails no longer download/display the embedded images like they did before on my windows PC using the Chrome browser.

I can click on the "View this email in your browser" link at the top of the email & everything displays just fine without any issue at all.

However, on my Pixel phone using the app provider by my email provider (Zoho.com) the images display just fine when I open the email.

I had this same thing happen for 1 email, didn't "open in browser", so can't attest to that.
all other emails since have been opening as they should, thumbnails /pictures showing.
Further to my suggestion of running a no longer supported system being the cause of my getting those pop ups,..well that is just Apple and their way of forcing me to update/ buy a new computer.
Had it many times before. Soon I won't be able to use Safari at all, as they will deem it  an obsolete system, unable to update. And even though using an outdated browser has no impact on their security, it should be my choice, they will disable the use.
The iPad I am not having any issues with the forum loading, without the security warning, is an even older OS for that system than the Mac . Go figure.

I will add that when I do click "Visit anyway" option on my iMac I can view forums without any problems.
However when I try to exit the forums by clicking the back button I can't and usually end up with a frozen "logged in" "TV guide" screen that can't be navigated and can't be logged out of, needing to quit safari.

Just adding an update; I am now using a new Mac, and  have none of the warnings popping up. All as should be.
It was as I suspected, that the old OS and browser were not up to date, unable to get security updates.
