Good question. I would assume that it does as it has been working OK for several months. If I recall correctly when it displays the TVHeadend statuo there was an error messsage - not sure if that is new or not. There is a username/password set for SMB.

Really cannot be sure of anything as it does not get beyond attempting to connect.

Checked the Kodi log, the only mentions of TVHeadend are:

The KODI and KODIE_CRASH logs contains multiple error messages suggesting that some sort of driver is failing to load.

When I checked with the www app, all three episodes are showing a dobule donut indicating that the timer has not been downloaded. I am seeing this on IceBox, Beyonwis and Topfield devices. I check on the IceBox and Beyonwiz and the recording are in fact scheuled with the same time as shown on the www app.

It is very odd.

Has anyone else notice this is it just my PVRs?

Today when I turned on my BYOB1 there was an error message about error with TVHeadend and then it was replaced by "PVR manager is Starting up: 0%" stuck on 0%. Has anyone had this hapen and if so what solution (if any) did you find.

Update: the screensaver is no displayed by the error message is still displaying.

I tried rebooting the IceBox but no luck.

I have seen the "to be advised" on several occaisions (about two weeks ago). The subject of the recodings was nothing I would watch. Cannot remember if the recodings were full length.

For me, this problem is limited to 9Gem HD and 9Go HD

I have not noticed this, but I do not usually change the pre and post padding. When I do it is to bring them in to line with my revised default padding.

I suspect it makes senese if the original timer is deleted and a new one created (as happens with Topfield PVRs) rather than editing the existing timer.

It happened again - but that was before Dan put the fix in. Will keep an eye on it.

Update: It happended again this moringing (commencing about 9:00 am) on my V2 (I did not check all devices) - it did not happen on my U4 (but that could be explained by it only recording first runs)

On my Beyonwiz V2 and U4, and IceBox BYOB 01 and 02 recorded what purported to be two episodes of Murdoch Mysteries on 7mate Melbourne yesterdau evening. Not sure what program recorded but it defintely was not Murdoch Mysteries. The information provided about the program was generic and not specific to a particular episode content. On the IceBox there was no season and episode number.

It is rather odd as Murdoch Mysteries are normally on 7two (for recent episodes) or ABC HD (early episdoes).

I have had similar things happen on 9GO a few weeks back while I was away.

I have never considered this but I recall some discussion during pre-release beta testing.

It is apparently possible to do what you want - I did a search for "libreelec backup recordings" and links to various possibilities resulted.

@Peter, sometimes TVHeadend assigns incorrect LCN, invariable start at (about) 100. This is not due to picking up from multiple transmitters. I suspect the range you are referring to is when the service scan finds more than one transmitter for the same network. I know this can happen in Hobart and Canberra.

Good question - only @MD will have a definitive answer. I have a dim recollection that they are currently out of stock (like everything else).

I really like these tuners - they are reliable and do NOT come loose as often as other makes.

The next thread says they are out of stock!

All episodes of Doc Martin have been made have aired in Australia on ABC; 7Two is repeating earlier episodes.

Like Peter, I have not seen the problem you describe. I only have this feature on one account which has 4 Toppys and a U4 (has 5 tuners so it is redundant).

I have 2 T2's and they frequently have clashes as they intermittently drop the third USB tuner.

The ultimate solution would be to find another tuner for the U4 - I have Sony PlayTV dual tuner on both my U4 and T2 where they have worked reliably for many years.
