If You're Listening (ABC Friday nights at 8:30pm)

FYI.

This isn't a IceTV issue because IceTV is only reflecting what the ABC guide has ... but that's incorrect.

The ABC has this weeks episode & the episode from last Friday night marked as repeats but they are/were not.

I've tried contacting the ABC but haven't had a response (not surprised) & as of this post the online ABC guide still has this weeks Friday episode (Series 2026 | Episode 15) marked as a repeat. It also has the episode listed for Friday 24th (Series 2026 | Episode 16) listed as a repeat.

If IceTV has a contact at the ABC ... can you please contact them. TIA.

As for what IceTV does ... that I'll leave up to you (I've manually added a timer for the episode).

And for anyone interested If You're Listening is a 20 min video podcast presented by Matt Bevan, discussing various topical issues. It's also available as a audio podcast on ABC Listen, where there are even more older episodes, going back to 2018.

Thanks for your note and the heads up. I've removed the repeat flag from both Friday night episodes.

Unfortunately, it wasn't only those episodes. All of the episodes for the last several weeks have been showing in the guide as repeats, and hence not being recorded. Setting repeats to record isn't really an option, as the show is repeated many times after its initial Friday night showing on ABC News around 8:30PM. I've been manually telling my IceBox to record it, which kind of defeats the purpose. :-(

Last nights episode was the 1st since episode 13 that the IceTV guide hadn't been changed by someone at IceTV. Still not a IceTV problem but a ABC issue for whatever reason.

As I mentioned in my post I tried to contact the ABC via their contact webpage but have never received a response and obviously the ABC haven't changed anything nor even realised themselves that the repeat status of this episode is incorrect.

Don't forget about iView where you can watch whatever episode you may have missed.

We will check this one more thoroughly going forward, for some reason it's happened to a few ABC shows recently. The Business is another example.

I didn't know that as whatever other ABC shows that are incorrectly marked are not shows that I want to record !!!!!

Sorry to say but the new episode broadcast earlier this evening was marked as a repeat (just like the ABC) & unfortunately I didn't notice until a short while ago.

I suggest that you mark the broadcast on the ABC News channel @ 1:34pm Saturday 20th June and/or the broadcast also on the ABC News channel @ 10:34pm Saturday 20th June as new.

Of course, the episode can be watched on iView.

There is an airing on Wednesday morning of that episode that has been set to first runs now.
