ABC Entertains is still 1 hour out in Brisbane hours after the changeover.  Other ABC channels have been corrected.  Please fix this ASAP.

Cheers, thanks for the quick response.

Enjoy the rest of the long weekend!

Brainz

ABC Entertains for 7 Apr is showing entries for 8 Apr.
It is out by 24 hours.
What is going on?  Please fix this!

I retract my praise for the previous fix!

Hi Brainz,
I have checked our guide against the ABC published guide and it appears to agree for both the 7th and 8th April. I will refer your problem to our Software Manager to look into your individual issue.

It's happening again. IceTV for the 9th matches Freeview guide for the 10th.

This is useless to me.  I can't go back to yesterday in IceTV to add the correct entries.  Even if I could it will get overwritten when it updates.

This is mental!

Brainz

It is 12:35am and I am currently watching an episode of QI called 'Keeps'.  Not Rage as is shown IceTV.

It is correct in Freeview and I had to create a timer from scratch to record it because IceTV thinks it was on last night.  I tried to record it yesterday as shown in IceTV but got an episode of Breeders instead.

Is this happening for any other channels?

We have gone through all of the ABC channels specifically in the Brisbane region in our guide and what we have on the server is correct and matches up with the ABC online guide and the guide feed that we receive directly from the ABC.

It would be worth clearing out any cached guide on the Beyonwiz and forcing it do download a fresh set of guide data from the IceTV server using the steps at https://support.icetv.com.au/hc/en-us/articles/227081427-How-do-I-clear-the-guide-and-force-an-update-on-the-Beyonwiz-T-U-and-V-series-PVRs

As I have stated it is only ABC Entertains that is having issues.
I have cleared data and downloaded fresh data on the V2 and T2.  I do this regularly anyway.
I notice it when I go to check timers for the following day.

This is one example of what I see tonight.  From the online ABC guide and IceTV web page.

All this started happening after the DST fix I requested.

And again I have verified that the ABC site is correct. What is on is what is currently shown.

I have double and triple checked what is showing on the IceTV website, via the IceTV api feed (both manually and using the android app which uses the same API as your Beyonwiz) and on the ABC website and all of them match up.

There was likely to be a 1 hour offset when you first reported the issue as we had not updated our systems for the daylight savings change (as this is a national channel from ABC we need to apply an offset when Queensland doesn't have daylight savings, this is manually done twice a year).

At this point in time it is definitely an issue with the Beyonwiz itself, and I can't think of exactly what could be causing it for just one channel. I cam guessing that the region and timezone is all set correctly on the Beyonwiz?

Thanks Daniel,

If you are checking it now it will be correct.
It fixes itself at sometime in the morning and stuffs up again around midnight.  It all lines up now but I expect it to change later tonight if it continues as it has been lately.

The fact that it is happening on 2 separate Beyonwiz boxes running different firmwares.
I logged out of the browser version when I compared it to the ABC site.  All my data is based on the desktop browser versions and the Android app.
I can't see how the boxes themselves can change the remote database.

I will disable IceTV on my v2 and compare the FTA guide to IceTV on my T2 now and later tonight when I expect it to be wrong again.

ABC does refresh all their guide files not too long after midnight, so there could be an issue with that particular process on their end. Will keep an eye out.

I don't know if this is significant, but the ABC is not broadcasting their over-the-air guide in Brisbane at the moment.
I disabled the plugin on my V2 and tried to populate the guide with OTA guide from each provider.
Everything downloaded except all ABC channels.  Tried on my T2 and got same result.

Did I move to a parallel universe when daylight saving finished?  Everything was working perfectly before then!

Brainz

After a couple of days of lining up the guide is back to being a day out.

IceTV ABC Entertains entries for the morning of 13/4 are the same as ABC website guide entries for 14/4.

At least I got through the weekend with some correct data.

Looks like I get to manually enter data again.
