Webget Problem
« on: April 30, 2005, 02:20:08 PM »
Hi

Just signed for a week trial and am getting a 401 error every time I run webget. I am using the string

c:\xml\webget.exe http://iceguide.icetv.com.au/cgi-bin/epg/iceguide.cgi?op=xmlguide&channels=1,2,3,4,5,29,38 ?u myusername -p password ?-o c:\xml\guide.xml

and

c:\xml\webget.exe http://iceguide.icetv.com.au/cgi-bin/epg/iceguide.cgi?op=xmlguide&channels=1,2,3,4,5,29,38 ?u <myusername> -p <password> ?-o c:\xml\guide.xml

neither seems to work.

I have created the xml directory and webget is in it

Any ideas? Would seem that there my usernmae password is not setup

Hi Welt,

I believe if you use the string

c:\xml\webget.exe "http://iceguide.icetv.com.au/cgi-bin/epg/iceguide.cgi?op=xmlguide&channels=1,2,3,4,5,29,38" -u <myuserid> -p <mypassword> -o c:\xml\guide.xml

you should be right to go. For the username and password it's probably best to copy them from the original confirmation email that was sent to you.

Daniel.
