Strange behaviour.

G'day,

Been having a field day with my Icebox watching the Olympics. Basically, nothing gets missed...except today.

The first thing that happened was ad skipping stopped. I went to the settings and turned it back on, but sill no skipping. Not the end of the world.

Things a little quiet so I thought I'd catch up om the rest of my recordings. I first went to check if any recordings were about to kick in, but no timer events were there at all. I then went to the recordings, but it was empty as well.

So I decided to do a shut down and power up.

Much to my relief the recordings were there, as were the timers.

I know the IceBox has had a good work out with essentially 12 hours of continuous recording every day.

So it'd true...turn it off and then back on.

Anyone else had similair things happen?

I have seen similar things; my understanding is that it is caused by TVHeadend crashing and failing to restart. It normally restarts when it crashes. It is also possible that KODI crashed at the same time which may prevent the restart. @Daniel Hall nay have a better explanation of what is happening.
