Phantom Timers

Since the migration of the server, I have had one or two phantom timers set on my Topfield PVR. Has anyone else seen this behaviour? The timers have been single events and not in any way related to any other programs I normally have timers set for.

Were they actually reservations on the Topfield or just listed in My Week?

Hi Dave,

At first only on MY Week, but now it's also been set on my Toppy. The rogue show is called RBT and airs on next Wednesday at 8:05pm on Nine.

Have you any keywords matching in your ICE guide? Any "phantom" timers I have ever had have always been due to my keyword matches.

Good point Mark. I had 4 keyword searches set, but none of them had anything remotely matching "RBT"

But, I've deleted them all just the same - let's see if I get another phantom timer now.

Our guys have found and plugged a hole in the system that was responsible for the unwanted shows being scheduled. So those phantom timers should be gone soon (it may take 5 days to filter through).

Does this plugged hole also affect Beyonwiz PVRs? I've had occasional phantom recordings on my BWs, too, but from before the recent server upgrades.

Yes, this affects all IceTV Interactive enabled devices.
