How to connect my Wix DP-Lite wirelessly

I have a Beyonwiz DP-lite.  Currently I have an ethernet cable running across the room to connect it to my modem and thus connect to my network.  Unfortunately I have a puppy who loves eating the cable despite my attempts to cover it with rugs and use cord covers etc.  Is there any way I can connect my wiz to the network wirelessly? The Wiz has a USB port.  So would it be possible to connect a wireless USB dongle? How reliable would the connection be? Would it be slower or drop out?  (The modem would still be in the same room)

If the dongle will work, can anyone make a recommendation?  (Preferably not too expensive)

Thanks in advance :)

I believe that the BW does not support a USB wireless dongle.
You will probably require a hard wire to wireless bridge to achieve what you need.

Try the BW forum and have a rummage through there.

There is a networking forum on there that will take a bit of rummaging, but ask the questions there.

Hi.

They have moved your post on the BW site to another forum. See http://www.beyonwiz.com.au/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=6447&highlight=

...

That's not just a belief. :) No Beyonwiz models support a USB wireless dongle.
