Program recording issue

Hi All,

I had to do a couple of forced re-starts of Win7 while recording shows (restarts were needed to complete install of other programs onto the O/S). Upon reboot the program does not commence re-recording the original program as it would have under Vista in similar circumstances.

I just restart my computer mid recording (by choice, not cos i was forced) and it picked up the show again perfectly.

it was split into 2 separate recordings, one before and one after the reset.

Hmm, I wonder if I have something set incorrectly...I was able to replicate the problem by going into live tv and starting a recording then restarting windows. Windows warns that the program recording will be interrupted by resetting (obviously). Upon a restart same problem - it doesn't continue recording that program.

While you don't normally reset your computer during recordings I have to wonder if you had a BSOD or some other type of unrelated failure where the computer reset whether the same result would occur, i.e no continued recording after the reset.
