ABC2 Hollowmen not flagged as a repeat, no episode name, generic synopsis

The IceTV (ACT, Web) entry for the ABC2 broadcast of Hollowmen tonight (Thu Sep 25) is not flagged as a repeat, has no episode name, and has a generic synopsis of the series, not an episode synopsis.

The ABC2 schedule on the ABC Web site has it flagged as a repeat, has the episode name (Vulnerable to Attack), which was shown on ABC1 last night 24 Sep, and it has a synopsis of the episode, not a generic series synopsis.

I though that IceTV used the ABC and SBS data (with permission) for the IceTV guide.

The IceTV Widget (Windows Yahoo Widget 2.2 (12), ACT data) shows the same.

The problem (ACT guide, Windows widget & Web) may have been fixed for last night's episode, 25 Sep, ABC2, but it looks as though the process for creating the ABC2 Hollowmen entries is still doing the same thing. The ABC2 Hollowmen guide entry (ACT, Web & Yahoo Widget) for 2 0ct, 20:30, is also not flagged as a repeat, has no episode name, and has the generic series synopsis, not the episode synopsis.

Now seems to be fixed for the Thursday Oct 2 episode. Waiting with bated breath to see what happens for Oct 9 :)

Just to explain, in terms of the process, ABC2 info is entered well in advance. At this early stage, the ABC itself often provides only generic synopses rather than episode-specific ones.

You may find that 7 days in advance, when you first see ABC2, the generic still appears but it will be revised closer to the airdate.

Thanks, Madeline, but the corresponding entries for the Wednesday ABC1 first showing of the episode seem to always be updated considerably earlier. The full entry for tonight's (Wed 1 Oct) ABC1 showing was correct when I posted on Friday Sep 26, but the same information wasn't available yesterday, 30 Sep, for the Thursday 2 Oct showing of the episode on ABC2.

The ABC online program guide for ABC2 has the correct repeat flag and episode synopsis, though not the episode title, for the Thurs 9 Oct episode already.

Thanks, The Hollowmen appears to have been a duplication error when multiple weeks were simultaneously scheduled, ie. missing info from Sept 25 repeated itself into Oct 2 and 9.

That's been manually fixed now so it shouldn't happen again.
