Iceguide Interactive Build 2.0.0.16: Error Messages: No Recordings Set

Hello Daniel,

I recently installed this program on a PC running MCE2005. The TV guide data seems to update okay but no recordings I have set on the IceTV website transfer through to my PC. The log reveals two error messages:

System.IO.EndOfStreamException: Unable to read beyond the end of the stream.
   at System.IO.__Error.EndOfFile()
   at System.IO.BinaryReader.ReadByte()
   at IceTV_Utility.utility.get_U32(BinaryReader br)
   at IceTV.SchedulerTask..ctor(BinaryReader br)
   at IceTV.scheduler.fillCache()
   at IceTV.scheduler.processTasks(StatusBarPanel status_text, Hashtable settings)
   at IceTV.MainForm.processTasks()

And:

"Unable to read beyond the end of the stream."

I have tried uninstalling then reinstalling Iceguide Interactive, but it makes no difference.

Do you have any ideas that might help fix this problem?

This sounds like a corrupted task has been cached on the computer.

The first thing would be to update to the new beta version of 2.0.0.17 as this should fix the issue straight away.

It is available in the sticky post in this sub-forum.

This is one of the issues that it has a fix in place for. Please update and let us know how it goes.

Thanks Daniel. I loaded the new beta software, and initially that didn't fix the problem. But after reading how to to clear the cache on another thread, I tried that, and now all is good. Thanks for your help.
