IceTV App for iPhone update

G'day,

I updated my iPhone IceTV App to  version 3.1 earlier today.

The update process itself went through OK, but then when I went to update a timer I found the list empty.

Actually, ALL lists were empty.

I tried "flicking" the app off and restarting it by picking the app icon but no luck.

I had to sign out and then sign back in. This got the lists to show.

So, just check to make sure you have your lists.

Logging out then logging back in fixed it, as it did for you.

We are aware of the issue and will hopefully solve it, keeping in mind we are a small company with limited resources. Deleting the app and reinstalling it also fixes it.  We will work over the upcoming weekend to release a new version with bug fixes.

Interesting and frustrating as to how we have used the beta version of this complete rewriting of the app without discovering this issue.

Ah so it's not just me, I was just going to post about this same issue as I though it might have been because I'm on the iOS 18.1 beta.

�I've a Beyonwiz T4, a current ice tv subscription and am running the ice app version 3.4 (235) on an iPhone 15  Pro running IOS 17.6.1.

When I select schedule new recording I am con fronted with the following screen in the app.

Notice no device is shown. In the previous version of the app it was.  If I select the device option> the app defaults back to my phones home page.

If I select "record" the red record icon appears in the apps TV guide alongside the set program but the information is not passed to my Beyonwiz T4 and hence not highlighted in the T4's program guide nor  recorded. If I now select "schedule new recording on new device" the following screen appears with the device "Beyonwiz T4" showing.

Selecting record now works as expected with the red record icon appearing on the app alongside the appropriate program and the selected program is highlighted in red in the T4's program guide. My T4 is shown as a device under my account on Ice TV's web page. Can any body suggest a fix?

Under the previous app if I selected a particular TV Channel it remained as the default now the app always defaults back to all channels. I found the old system convenient as I generally only watched one channel. It also appears no matter what time you select for the presentation of program times for the guide it always takes you back to the start of the day and you have to scroll through until you find your program.

You haven't successfully attached your images. I think you need to use the "Attachments and other options" menu below the text entry box when you create your post.

Hi Reg,

We haven't seen the device issue before in many users.  I'd suggest resetting the app from its Settings icon.

We'll put the TV channel request in our to do list for future updates but no promises as to when as you have been the only user to mention it.

Neither resetting nor reinstalling the IOS app resolved the issue.

I have updated reply#4 to this thread with images. As a further note the T4's log, after successfully implementing the recording on the T4's EPG, listed the program as being recorded 4 times.

I see the T4 listed as the device in the screenshot you sent?  As to the multiple list of a recording has that gone or if not can you send a screenshot as again you are the only user with this issue?

As an aside I see your T4 hits our server twice every time, every 15 minutes, which is odd...

I think the first screen shot is when I selected show new recording the "New Recording"screen did not show a device if I did try to select a device the app crash back to my Home Screen. To be able to have the T4 record a show I had to select record on the above screen. This then allowed me to select new recording on a different device. When I selected this option the second screenshot was presented showing the device i.e. "Beyonwiz T4" which wasn't shown in the first screen shot.

I've just tested the system again. The above still applies but there a no duplicated recordings shown in the icetv log.
