Hi,

Just purchased a EyeTV hybrid today and subscribed to IceTV.  The program guide appears, but everything is one hour too early.  For example, 7's Perth news which is at 6pm is listed in the program guide as 5pm.   I've done an update, but no luck.

Any ideas please?

I'm not familiar with EyeTV or the Mac, but most likely cause is that the Mac timeszone is set incorretcly; it might be showing the right time but the both the time and timezone need to be right.

This is correct, the Mac must be in the correct timezone with a daylight savings option as well now.

As far as we are aware Apple has not as yet released an update for daylight savings in W.A.

It would be best to contact Apple to see if they are going to release one.

Please note that there's two possible ways to solve this until Apple release an update to fix the WA daylight savings issue:

#1 - "The recommended solution from Apple in WA is to set your timezone to Osaka, Japan, the night before, and set it back to Perth when DST finishes." This probably won't affect anything apart from the time on your Mac, but definitely use with caution if you have some time-sensitive apps running.

#2 - Install a patch from philip: http://www.csse.uwa.edu.au/~philip/wadaylight/

I just thought I'd bump this to say that the recent Apple update did indeed contain the Perth daylight savings info. So everything should be ok now (please let us know if it's not!).
