Just for reference, last week I did a factory reset on the Humax which fixed this issue, and all shows were scheduled.

However the exact same issue has occurred again this week with the same set of shows, obviously the Humax can not handle this process.

Hi,

I have seen this a few times now where TCA will reschedule one of my shows when there are 3 shows on at the same time on a Humax 7500.

The rescheduled show is fine but one of the 2 "remaining" shows never gets scheduled, so I finish up missing one of the shows that doesn't get moved.

Any thoughts?

Finally got a chance to reboot the router and the problem has been resolved.
The Humax now has a good IP address.

Thanks for the reply.

No, nothing AV related. I do have multiple functioning computers on the network currently working fine connected to external servers.
Humax is connected via ethernet. DNS is ok.

The Humax is set to use DHCP but just now I tried to switch to manual and then back to DHCP and I am getting a network connection fail message!!
I checked the IP address assigned and it is indeed invalid .... a 169.254 address

Can't do it right now but will try a router reboot later and see how I go.
Maybe need to do a factory reset failing that?

Hi,

In the last day or so my Humax has suddenly started to pop up a dialogue asking me to enter my details every time I try to view the guide:

"To enjoy IceTV, you need to enter the account information. Do you want to proceed?"

When I try to do that I receive the following message:

"Cannot confirm the account because of the current network condition from the IceTV server. Please try later"

Any ideas?

It seems there was an update to this firmware dated 21 Sep 2015.
From then on I could no longer pause live tv, it just muted the sound.
I reverted to 1.08.26 dated 6 Nov 2014 and normal pausing has returned.
Maybe it's just me?

Problem solved.

I have reverted to firmware AUTFAA 1.08.26 and pausing live tv is now working again.

It seems to have auto updated to 1.08.27 on 21 Sep 2015 which broke pausing.

I have disabled auto update!

Reformatting the hard drive made no difference...

Hi,

I have been using a Humax most of this year after years with a Topfield.
It has been fine until the last few weeks when I noticed it will not pause live tv anymore.
If I try to pause, it mutes the sound but the show continues to play, and then just continues with sound when I hit play.
When I hit play after trying to pause it also seems to continue to display 'pause' on the front panel. It seems hitting stop is the only way to clear the panel.
I have done a factory reset to no avail. Am considering formatting the drive?
It also seems to have a noticeable lag when changing channels where the screen will remain blank for up to 5 seconds.
Any thoughts?
