Im absolutely blown away with this app.
GREAT work guys...

Honestly, you are so on the ball. Having something like this weeks after the iPhone release just makes people realise how much that subscription fee really pays off at times.

One feature add I would like to see, is the ability to simply go to the next time slot by hitting next page.
Its a little annoying once you hit the end of a time slot to change days or times just to see shows 12 hours later. It would be great to just be able to hit next and flick through whats coming up. Or maybe we could use the finger slide to get to the next page (?)

Howdy,

I have a small problem with a clients PC.
It seems that their guide is not communicating correctly with online ICE.
When a show is recorded online, its not reflected in MCE.
When a show is recorded on the MCE, its not reflected online.

The settings are as usual with the interactive client setup, however we do receive an error when trying to test the settings. The passwords and usernames are definately correct because I can log into the online setup A-OK.

Can someone help, Please?
My clients user ID is bdavison

The error received when Test Settings is hit is:

Communication Failed with the supplied user information . The remote server returned an error (401) Unauthorised

Any help would be greatly appreciated
Ive tried re-scans, Ive got the client updated to the latest, Ive uninstalled, reinstalled the client, but still no go.

the device appears fine on the client, and when a new device ID is created online it appears fine on the client. So it seems to be talking, just not the right way.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

Hey Guys,

You are doing a great Job with ICETV interactive.
Its very popular with a lot of my clients.

One comment about the mobile version:

It would be nice if there was a way to use the mobile version to record TV series recordings, or advance recordings.
Usually I personally use the service when ive forgotten to record something and Im on the road. Now, if that happens to be a sporting event, we all know how well the TV Networks plan their timeslots and it can very easily go overtime.

If there was an advance record feature, this could easily be overcome.

Just my 2c

As always, such a great help to people.
Ive been using ICE for sometime now, no probs at all.
The only downfall, is no PAYTV support.

Man I wish Packer and co would just grow up and accept technology.

Impact, good to see you here mate :)

No worries and thanks for the heads up with RU2 and crunchie.
I waited for that fix before going down the Ru2 path.
Havent had time to play yet, but its good to know you need those EXACT versions.

Only recently have I upgraded to RU2.
Didnt want to bother seeing some of apps didnt work nicely with RU2 (such as crunchie).

Out of curiosity, whats the longest your system has been up for without needed a reboot?
Prior to RU2, mine was about 6 weeks, not sure now Ive gone to RU2. Will have to wait and see I guess.

Out of curiosity, has anyone experienced a problem where they lost their channel mappings?

I got it for the first time last week after a few months of stability. Was very annoying... lost all lmy scheduled shows :(

A few friends of mine are getting that problem too

I will install on my systems and also post results.

I only seems to reboot from that one issue these days.
So if im up in 2 weeks without a restart, it will be a good signal that all is OK

I just wish MS would fix this issue if they know its a problem :(

Id be lying if I thought it should have been ICE's place to look into this more than they did.

I will give that a go over the next few days.

You are obviously running the patch. How have you been finding it?

Does sound very weird that I have never received the error when not using ICE.
I Used Bladerunner for a long time, and only since upgrading to ICE have I started to receive the error.
Ive never seen it before ICE.

Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone had experienced this before:

Today I came home from a long day at work, and to my suprise I had a critical guide error.
After rebooting my system I noticed that every single recording I had scheduled had been cleared from the Scheduled Recordings. Everything... gone.

I still had my Recently Recorded files, but all upcoming schedules were cleared and erased.

Any clues to what may have caused this?
Has anyone else experienced this?

A friend of mine that also has ICE had the same thing happen to him only a month or so ago. We are both running pre-RU2 systems.

Any help or SUPPORT would be greatly appreciated.

Just as a side note: When I was running Bladerunner Pro for some time, I never experienced these issues.
The only times I could be sure it happened was after ICE was installed.
Of course thats not to say its strictly an ICE issue. It may be something simple such as a software conflict or a wrong version of .NET installed. I havent had a lot of time to disect a MCE install and play. Its a little hard when the problem is occuring at random points.

Any insight though would be very handy

I have now also seen this problem occur with a machine running RU2

If anyone else is receiving this error, please also reply to this topic and let ICE know so they can help us find a fix.
