The EPG data for Prime 7HD (ACT) is missing, for Tuesday 7th Nov and Wednesday 8th Nov.

I have looked in both the www and Android phone app - the EPG data is missing from both.  Also, the IceTV has not received the Prime 7HD timers, probably because it too is lacking the EPG data.

Note that SEAL Team Season 6 has been available for streaming on Paramount+ for close to a year.  However, this is its first run on FTA TV.  The American TV networks are running short of original content, as a result of the strikes, which is why SEAL Team is getting a broadcast run.

I just found some archived logfiles on my IceBox.

I used my computer to browse to the IceBox via the network, and found them zipped in the 'Logfiles' share.  I have about 30 with named with date/time.  I just created a timer and a new log file appeared.

Perhaps you can look in there for some clues.
The logfiles folder is setup to create a new Log File every time the folder is accessed.

I'm still wondering why the account expired?

The account is set to Auto Renew, and I had updated the credit card payment details only 2 days ago.  Normally I receive an email if payment is declined, but I can't find anything in my InBox or Spam folder. 

Payment failure has happened to me in the past, and IceTV staff have been very good in dealing with my temporary problem (i.e. waiting for a replacement card to be issued from the bank).  However, the lack of any email suggests that this was not the reason for the expiration.

It appears that the IceTV system simply didn't attempt to charge my credit card, and thus marked my account as expired.  Why did this happen?  Is it likely to happen to other users, as they reach the end of their "free" period, following IceBox purchase and SSD replacement?

OK... why did it expire?  I updated my credit card settings 2 days ago.

IceBox has now connected again, as of 8:28 this morning.

This morning I opened the IceTV app on my phone (android), and got an error message, and was sent to the login page.  This happened on both my phone & tablet.

Checking the Guide Settings page, I see that my Beyonwiz T2 hasn't done an update since 11:52pm last night, and the IceBox hasn't updated since 11:58pm last night.

It would appear that something has gone badly wrong with the IceTV servers, with client devices no longer being able to connect to the servers.

Is this just a problem with my account, or are other users experiencing the same problem?

** I can still access IceTV through the WWW, but all of the other devices have stopped connecting.

Next week's episode is another (new) Battle of the Duds.  Once again, the ABC's re-use of the same episode title has caused problems with the IceTV automated system, and it is incorrectly marked as a repeat.

Sounds like your SSD may have gone "read only".  This is an infamous problem with the IceBoxes - but replacement SSDs are on their way from China, and will soon be issued to all IceBox owners.

In the mean time, there are various remedies which people have found successful - but it's not "one size fits all", unfortunately.

For me, simply pulling & replacing the power plug (what I refer to as a hard reboot) worked.
For others, it was necessary to leave it unplugged overnight.

@MD will probably be in contact with you to provide assistance.

Yes - forcing the full episode guide download will only download the EPG data.  It won't force IceTV to re-send the timers, which are marked as failed on the system.  You will need to re-send these, once the full EPG has downloaded.

Did you go into the IceBox (TVHeadEnd Client?) app settings, and tell it to "Download full EPG"?

Unfortunately, the default behaviour of the IceBox & Android Phone App will not result in the missing EPG data being downloaded.  You need to force them to download the full EPG again.

Thinking back, it may have been the TVHeadEnd Client app, where I did the full EPG download - not the IceTV app.

Monday (10th Sept) and Tuesday (11th Sept) episodes for The Chase Australia are currently showing as TBA.  I'm not sure why this is the case, given that it's a regularly scheduled program, and other online TV Guides show The Chase Australia as usual.

Region: ACT (Canberra)
Time: 1700-1800
Dates: Mon 10th Sept, Tues 11th Sept
