Thanks Daniel!!

It's on my T2 now, presumably because of the manual re-send command.

I don't have logging enabled.

General Discussions / Elementary - timer misbehaving
August 15, 2018, 11:32:19 AM
Elementary
Win HD (ACT - Canberra)
11:45pm, Sunday 19th August

I have Elementary set to record as a Series Recording, but I am seeing some very unusual behaviour with next week's episode.

  • According to the IceTV android app on my phone & tablet, the timer is marked as a Queued Series Recording - i.e. an unsent timer.
  • According to the IceTV website, accessed via Chrome & Firefox, the timer is marked as a Series Recording - i.e. a sent timer.
  • According to my T2, there is no such timer.
All other timers in the My Week recording schedule appear to be behaving correctly.

Any idea why I might be seeing this behaviour?  I can fix it relatively easily, by setting the timer manually on the T2, but I'd rather see a fix coming directly from IceTV.

IceTV EPG Content / Re: Twice as Grimm

I had the same thing (not surprising as we're both in Canberra).  My T2 only had 1x timer, but I was seeing 3x timers in the "My Week" area of the IceTV guide.  I think it was because something went wrong with the IceTV update after Prime7 change the program's start time.

Originally, I had 1x timer for Grimm.  It was set to record from 23:50 to 00:50, plus pre- & post- padding.

Yesterday it morphed into 3x timers, at least as far as IceTV was concerned.  I was seeing 2x timers for Grimm, one of which was marked as being "unsent".  I was also seeing a single recording timer, for the show which preceded Grimm.  However, the T2 only had 1x timer, going from 23:50 to 01:00 (plus padding).  The finish times had been adjusted correctly, but the start time hadn't changed.

Tonight's stage of the Tour de France (Friday 13th July) is currently marked as a repeat.  It is a Live broadcast, and very much a new episode.

Canberra (ACT) is definitely uptodate on The Blacklist episodes.  All episodes up to and including the end of Season 5 ("Sutton Ross") have been aired previously.

Hi vader1111,

Many thanks for your note. This was amended in morning checks and you should see the change reflected on the schedule.

Cheers,

Tiphanee
Already noted.  Many thanks!

It appears that Ch7 are showing it (based on yourtv.com.au), but Prime7 would rather show Home Shopping.  Grrrr!!

I've just looked at My Week, and I'm seeing a double entry for tonight's episode of SEAL Team, a triple entry for tomorrow's episode of The Blacklist, a double of tomorrow night's Blindspot, and a single entry for tomorrow night's The Resident.

That these shows (SEAL Team, Blacklist, Blindspot) have had a recent time change, and something has gone haywire within the IceTV system, resulting in rogue timers being created.

Hi vader,

What version of the IceTV plugin are you running?

Do you know which revision of the firmware you are running?

Is this just on the guide on the Beyonwiz?
I'm seeing it on both the IceTV website and the Android app (App version 1.30).

I don't think it's related to the Beyonwiz firmware, because the glitch showed up on IceTV before the timers were sent to the T2 (timers appear online 7-days out, sent to the T2 6-days out).

I've attached a screenshot of the offending timers, taken from the IceTV TV Guide (website version).
