Help !  ???  I used to have "ABC TV Adelaide", "ABC 2" and "ABC HDTV" set up in Webscheduler.

What happened to the ABC ?  Their website is less than informative about what changed specifically.  Does anyone have any explanatory links ?

In WebScheduler, IceTV channels only load ABC1 and ABC2.

In particular,
which ABC-1 ?
which Ten HD ?
which SBS is the movies and which is the "other" ?
and where did Ice's ABC-HDTV go ?

Also, do I have to turn on my TV's and do a re-scan on their channels too ?

As most of you are aware, we are still in a current legal battle with Channel Nine (although we won the case in August), and we are still not authorised to use any of the published information available from the 3 major free-to-air TV networks, despite repeated attempts to gain official access.

Well you can quote one channel 9 customer back to them that they should pull their finger out of their arses as they're just pissing off their own customer base and making them feel negative to their channel and their channel's ads. 

Again, who's inconvenienced ?  The people that hopefully maybe some of them think they want to entice to watch their channel.  Tell them either fix it or show more nice boobs in the 7:30-9:40 timeslot !

Rest assured that our team is working very hard to release our own independent TV guide listings for these new Channels within the IceTV EPG as soon as humanly possible.

We are aiming for a possible release of this information in early 2008 and by this time we suspect that the two networks will have more consistent HD programming in place for us all to enjoy.

As soon as we can, we will include the information in our IceTV EPG service and we will notify all our users of great news.

To clarify though when talking about an official launch, for seven this means when full strength programming (as they put it) begins.

Oh.  Same probably holds true for 9 and 10 then...

FreeTV Australia and the other commercial TV networks following on from their recent announcement will be cracking down on any epg that isn't independently compiled or that are unable to prove that the information they provide is not a direct copy of their own copyrightable material or published guides.

Wow, talk about the networks p*ssing on their highly valued customer base who watch their Ads, for no real gain except bad-will.  ... seems to be the fashion with bigger media companies nowadays, losing their corporate way, what with RIAA and whatnot sueing their customer base etc.  :o   Where do they find those guys ?

Because of the great lengths that we go to in order to provide a legal service for Australian consumers... Remembering that we receive no assistance from the commercial TV networks themselves.

OK Look forward to it.  :)   Any chance of a summary date-countdown listing the channels and current status/issues/advisories, or something, in a pinned area maybe ? (even if t.b.a. dates)

Hi  :)  1st post.

the PDF says "7HD launched on 15 October and is the first phase of Seven’s multi-channelling plans, broadcasting across late primetime and weekends as part of a  considered strategy leading to the full-strength launch of a second Channel Seven in the coming weeks."

So, since 7HD is officially launched, as is says there, can Ice HD be updated with the content ?
