I re-installed with the latest image and its TVHeadend is working. still get flickers on live tv.
I set a couple of recordings for tonight. will see how they go.

Hi All,

I'm testing the BYO IceBox on an old intel nuc with a USB Tuner from my T2.
Initially it worked but I noticed the recordings were corrupt then the tvheadend failed to start.

I applied the update yesterday hoping it would fix the tvheadend, unfortunately it didnt :(
Looks like the T2 USB tuner is not good enough even though its through an amplified splitter.

Any suggestions?
Or should i wait till I have more pocket money :)

Guess I'll have to manually set these recordings until it gets sorted at icetv

I missed a new show on the 1st of April, I recorded last nights episode just to check and while it was listed as a repeat it was a new show as far as I could tell.

I'm in Adelaide and this show is recorded as a fav series new shows on Beyonwiz DP-Lite

Thanks for the info.
Appears to have settled down after removing some channels and changing LCN settings.

Whats going on with icetv for topfield 2400?
My topfield keeps rebooting when icetv is enabled.
tried a factory reset, did not fix.

my beyonwiz dplite appears to work ok.

Looks like the icetv guide caught up about 2 hours ago as I received a notification for failed timer ( because i had manually set it on the beyonwiz )

Thanks for whoever at icetv updated the guide.

I just copied the above detail from the online  abc ivew guide.

I'm in Adelaide and have 2 recorders Beyonwiz DP Lite and Topfield 2400

I noticed that in the IceTV online guide and on the Recorders that the show is not listed.

Hi All,

Trying to find out if anyone else is in the same boat.

I have 2 devices on my IceTV acc. The first device is my Topfield 2400 on wifi which after a rocky start has been pretty stable on the 18th oct 2010 firmware.

The second is the DP Lite with the latest firmware, network cable direct using my ISP time.

Both are given there IP address by my router via DHCP with the router set to give them the same IP via the MAC address of the device.

Sofar so good.


Every now and then ( totaly random )  the DP Lite says it has no connection when I use the test user info feature in the ice guide menu.

The usual reason why I check is I have noticed that a recording that is sched on line has not appeared.

The other times I check is after a power failure / daylite saving changes / etc

I checked this week because I noticed that shows shed for the Topfield had shown up on the DP Lite.
Later in the week we also had a power failure.

Did the usual litany recommended by icetv for the DP Lite but noticed this morning that 2 sched shows ( part of series rec ) did not not rec.
So I redid the litany for the DP Lite.

Any suggestions / recom gratefully received.

I have copied this  post direct to IceTV support.
