I am finding the same - I have a preference for 'documentary' that is not working as of this morning (23/11)

Hi Dave,

Well, I did a big cleanup - can't believe the rubbish I had saved as keyword/favourites etc over the past couple of years.

Anyway, with no keywords it's lightning fast. A little disappointed with the fact that all I have to do is place one keyword/favourite like "documentary" and it slows considerably.

I can live with it now as definitely better than before.

Thanks

Hi Dave,

Appreciate the help. When I have a chance I'll do as suggested and get back to you.

Hi,

I'm now at a friends home using a Telstra ADSL connection Win7 32 bit and same pattern:

Record from "My Week" = very slow to respond
Record from "TV Guide" = fine.

That means all of the following five me the same pattern:

Win7 64 bit and 32 bit with ie9 or Firefox from home with Optus Cable
Win XP 32 bit with ie8 and Firefox on a fast but unknown connection at work
Win7 32 bit with ie9 or Chrome from Telstra ADSL

Could it be that I have lots of favourites and key words set up???

Thanks

Hi again,

Well I spoke too soon, it's slow again.

Just figured out that if I do from "TV Guide" it's quick, if from "My Week" it's slow.

Hi,
At work I use Windows XP with either ie8 or Firefox (not sure what the connection is but at a major hospital)
At Home I use Win 7 with either ie9 or firefox (Optus 100Mbit cable connection).

Ironically, tonight is the best it has been in a long time. The reason I checked the forum was to see if you've updated something.

Thanks

Still an absolute joke!

Just took me about 30 minutes to set up a few recordings for next week.

Still slow here - how about for others?

I've actually had it time out on me three times tonight. Are they running the server through a dialup connection??

BTY

Work = XP/ie8

Home Win7/ie9 (both 32 & 64 bit)

Yep, same here. Slow as ^#$%^

It's an absolute joke atm. If it doesn't pick up soon I'll be cancelling. I thought it may be the firewall at work but the same at home with 100Mbit Optus Cable. Sometimes taking 2-3 minutes to load 'my week'

Same here as at 1.26pm Sydney on 05/07/12

That slow I have to manually close ie to get it working again.

Hi
As an easy way if making sure I was only recording one episode of a given show I would choose the recorder and then a word search for the show  - e.g. "M*A*S*H"

It would then show all the MASH for the coming seven days and I could easily make sure I was getting the one new one each day - sometimes my settings were thrown out if the same ep was shown at 6pm and then 2am - I'd miss the 6pm showing of the dsy where ist ep was considered 2am.

Now what seems to be happening is each time I change a setting on a given shoe the guide is resetting to defualt and I have to do the search again - quite time consuming and annoying

Also Just noticed a tendency to flick back to guide after making a change in 'my week'

BTW - with your new recording settings there should be an option "one off recording" rather than work your way through the record menu.

Cheers

Hi all,
Using a Toppy TF7100HDPVRt (not sure if it's related to this in particular).

Anyway, I'm sure in the past if I manually added a recording using my toppy it would later show on the ICE TV schedule as being recorded (the red circle). For example, I set The Shield and Sopranos to record tonight and neither apppears as being set to be recorded from the ICE TV site. Am I imagining something that never used to happen or is it something that has stopped working?

Thanks
