Big woops in guide data on 30th April, Melbourne Metro, on my vista machine.

Firstly, the season is Autumn not Spring.
Secondly Oaks Day takes place in November
Thirdly Channel Seven has the Spring Carnival not Nine.

At 2pm on Nine SD I have
"Horse Racing: Oaks Day"
"Day three of the spring carnival at flemington"

Ever time I boot up vista, ice interactive tells me there is a new version available do i wish to download it. I keep clicking NO. I am quite happy running .16 I am unsure if it wants to download .17 beta. The problems that I hear about the beta makes me not want to download the beta. Anyway to disable the "New version available....." dialog?

Can you give us any updates on the remote API or Vista Sidebar gadget?
Thanks

Windows Media Center / Re: Guide dificulties

Ok I have installed both KB articles above. Vista MC still does not download the guide by it's own accord. I still have to load into MC and mannualy initiate the guide download. Using Ice Client 2.0.0.16, pressing the "update now" button does nothing as well.

Thanks for the quick reply, but I am net recieving any of those errors discussed the two KB articles above. I'm not even getting the "invalid country or region" but the guide seems to download fine, only if manualy initiated from the media center interface.

Windows Media Center / Guide dificulties
December 05, 2007, 11:19:47 AM
I recently did a re-install of my Vista OS, while everything else is working a lot better, my Guide/IceTV just isn't working how it used to. At the moment, the guide does not download automaticly ever! If I click on update guide button in the Ice client, the system tray icon will appear to download the guide, but it never moves from 0 percent. The only way I can get the guide is to load media center itself and manualy download the guide via the settings menu, of "get latest guide listings".

Ok yes...media center is set to download automaticly. Iceguide client is set not to update guide listings, and not set to fix registry keys. This is how I had it set up before the reinstall and it work perfectly. Downloading the guide everyday, at what ever time when i happend to be on the PC.

Can anyone help? Thanks

Ahh of course, cheeers.

Having fixed the start menu pointing to the wrong exe. But NOW whenever vista boots it loads the splash screen then displays the full settings dialog waiting for me to close it. The old version only displayed the splash screen and tray icon.

Annoying to say the least. >:(

IceTV EPG Content / Heros Tonight
April 02, 2007, 11:21:26 AM
Tonights episode of Hero's on channel 7 at 11.30 is a repeat of last weeks episode "Homecoming"
What I found strange is, my series recodring of Heros is set to First Run only.
I found this morning that is was going to be recorded tonight (the repeat of last week) and this weeks episode on Wednesday (which is new)
I set this series up through MCE not PIMP.

Have ICEtv stopped using the reapeat flag in your guide data??
#11
Thanks Daniel, so what your saying basicly is that setting the update frequency in PIMP to "Every 10 Minutes" is now useless??
#12
Hi, I did exactly the same thing updated from 2006 to 2009 and now have the same problem as you when i click the connection test button.
#13
Any reason why the PIMP interface on the web is running so slowly.

Ever since installing this new pimp version, I am starting to get invalid country errors when downloading guide data. And yes the Fix Reg Keys when changed is checked. I never had this problem on the previous pimp beta for Vista. ??? ??? ???
