Hi MD,

Ok, well it was with both devices and I had reset, turned off and back on both devices. It lasted all day.

I just tried this morning and now all is good. I've made no changes overnight except my router rebooted itself overnight. Is it possible it crashed (no problems with other apps) because it couldn't phone home for some reason?

Anyway it's working again.

Cheers.
Trevor Daley.

I've done a search and haven't seen this come up yet.

I've updated my iPadPRO and iPhone 12 Pro Max to iOS 15.6 and the IceTV app immediately crashes when started. I tried to remove from memory to try and start fresh but it's not there so is not even staying in the memory list once it crashes. This happens with every start of the app. Device force reboot makes no difference.

Cheers.

IceTV EPG Content / Inaccurate EPG still.
February 03, 2021, 04:50:52 PM
I am still getting shows that are repeats with the flag and at times the opposite and the last 2 days the EPG has shown regular shows, but in fact Tennis is on.

This in Adelaide.

Hi,

I love my IceTV and have been with you from the start, but more and more I am finding errors in your guide. Luckily mostly programs shown as new when they are repeats, not such a problem as I can just delete what has been recorded.

I also now find that star times are being blown out by anywhere up to 30 minutes.

I find that recently I have begun to check my recordings with the local stations to make sure they are correct, this almost makes IceTV redundant, which is not a situation I want.

Sorry, this is the Adelaide guide.

A example is Saturday 23rd April had "Out of the Blue" at 1400 on 7two as new, this was a repeat, last night NCIS was show as new but was a repeat.

Many thanks,
Trevor Daley

IceTV EPG Content / Re: Seven, Sun 24 April 2016

Hi,

I also am having trouble with channel 7. Tonight the 2100hrs time slot is listed as "Criminal Minds (2015)", this is last nights episode and is not on tonight. There is a movie on and this has been advertised for the past few days and has been listed on other guides as the movie.

Adelaide were all good to go yesterday morning, are you seeing the data on your PVR?

Hi,
Yes I did and on top of that I realized that the guide had change without having to clear the cache and forcing an update.

Ciao.

IceTV EPG Content / Re: No data 9HD And 9Life

As an update, the following regions are all fully online:

Sydney
Melbourne

We are missing some channel mapping information (DVB Triplets, which would affect new Beyonwiz T-Series units and SKIPPA's) in the following regions:

Adelaide
Brisbane
Perth
Gold Coast
Darwin

For these regions we need to confirm the DVB triplet information for channel 9 (on LCN 91), 9Gem (on LCN 92), 9Go (on LCN 93) and 9Life (on LCN 94). This will only affect the Beyonwiz T-Series PVR's and SKIPPA's as these PVR's do not use LCN's for channel mapping but use the DVB Triplet Information. Any assistance from users in these regions would be greatly helpful, please send me a message via the forum if you can help.

The overflow channels in regions areas are almost complete and will be done shortly.

I'm in Adelaide and have a Beyonwiz T4 with no EPG data for Channel 9.

Let me know what you need and where to find it and I will forward the info.

SKIPPA / Re: Account Expired
November 05, 2015, 10:07:50 PM
Hi,

I too have had this problem with my Beyonwiz T4.

This morning I turned on Auto-Renew and put in my credit card number and all was well for a short time.
I them kept getting the message on the T4 to put in my IceTV password, I did this multiple times and kept getting the message to effect of "not authorised to login. Account expired.
I went back to the web page and my account to find it says my account has expired. I re-entered my creadit card number 3 times and it still shows as my account has expired.
I can no longer access the Apple app or an EPG on my T4, luckily it still recorded tonights shows all be it without any info about the shows.

I made 2 phone calls to IceTV to and left messages, but no replies yet (I appreciate they are probably very busy).

I'm just pissed off that up to yesterday all "just worked" which is what I loved about IceTV, now currently it is useless to me and that is after loosing 1 lifetime membership and 1 very recently renewed 1 year subscription.

Rant off.

Ciao,
Trev Daley.

OK, update...

After reading deeper into these forums I cured the problem by just straight out buying my first month with the new service (no week grace period for me). Still no reply to my phone calls or website support ticket!
At lease I now have IceTV back up and running.

Ciao,
Trev Daley.

Humax / Re: Humax 4tune (HMS-1000T)

Well, it's ok.
Just to me other than the 4 tuners it's a backwards step from my HDR-7510T.

I'll put something together.

From what I can see most of the problem should be able to be fix in firmware.

When I get a chance I'll try what I can, problem is most of my videos are H.264 MPG4.

But, if your interested I give my HDR-7510T 8/10 and my HM-1000T (4Tune) 3/10.

Going by the Humax Australia website, the 4tune seems to support the 3 Humax smart phone apps, and has samba support - though it reads like you need to copy the files to the Humax HDD before it can play them (assuming it has codecs to support said files).
Can you confirm this the case, i will not be buying unless it can stream directly from my NAS

Supported formats are
• Video: MP4, VOB, AVI, ASF, MKV, MPEG-2TS
• Photo: JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF
• Music: MP3

I just got my 4Tune and it will stream from my QNAP TS-669 PRO.

I was told by Humax via their Facebook feed that IceTV WOULD be supported.

Humax / Re: HDR-7510t model coming
December 23, 2013, 09:37:10 AM
Does anyone know if this model will transfer files via your network decrypted, so I don't have to wait forever to copy them on and off a USB stick?
------------------
OK to answer my own question, yes it does! Yay!

Rumor has it that there will be an update to the firmware of the HDR-7500T that will allow them to transfer files via FTP unencrypted.

Hi Dave,

I just read the above reply by you and have a silly question....

I have both versions of the HDR-7500T and would like to know the differences between them, is there anywhere I can find this info. I have looked at the Humax site but couldn't find any info.

Many thanks,
Trevor Daley.
