If you are that deperate to get support, then give them a ring.

Peter,

1. I'm not desperate

2. If the IceTV support don't want to answer support queries in the Forum, then why list the Forum under the Support section on main web page?

and

3. If the questions are posted and answered in the Forum it should ease the burden on the support team (they may only have to answer a query once instead of multiple times) as well as make it easier for others to get up to speed with any issues and resolutions.

I must concede that up until this week, I have had nothing but excellent assistance from the support team, particularly Daniel  It's just a pity that the level of Forum support has declined.

Cheers,

Just wondering if people have used the customer support (Email to support@icetv.com.au).

If so, did you recieve a response from them and how long did you wait for a response?

Just wondering as I emailed them on the morning of the 28th and still have not had a response.

Marty

I don't know about email support but forum responses do seem to have dried up recently....

I will answer my own stupid question, click on the new firmware name in the Info screen to download it.

And for what its fixed.  I would say the Auto Fetch problem that we complained about has been fixed (until the year 2016 anyway)

Iceguide Information
Firmware Version: 200608301537
Latest Firmware Version: 200608301537
Last Fetch: Unknown
Next Fetch: 2016-08-30 15:37:33

rgds Damon

Hi Damon - per my post in the Iceguide for Topfield forum, I bought a legit Icebox2 from IceTV (Daniel can confirm this) and did some testing with the Asus firmware but have no copy of the original firmware to get the box back to IceTV configuration.

Since IceTV don't seem to want to respond to my request in that forum, can you possibly email me a copy of the bugfix firmware so I can restore my box?

Cheers,

Any update on the availability of the firmware for Asus WL500g Deluxe?

I purchased the Icebox2 from IceTV and have been playing around with alternative firmware and would like to revert back to the original Ice firmware.

Can you please advise?

Windows Media Center / Re: XBox360 & IceTV Guide

Hey guys - I have to agree.... the XBox 360 is sensational as an extender. I can't run ethernet cable here but have got a Belkin wireless A+G router with the Xbox 360 exclusively using 802.11a and it is easily streaming HD TV from the study to the lounge..... with no stutters at all.   I can't remember the last time I played a game on the 360, but it is sure earning its keep as an extender!

Thanks also for the AVI to DVD tips... I"m about to give them a test drive.....

Cheers
