This series has been on a rolling repeat on the ABC for years now (it's 13 years old!) - just because it's now on 10 doesn't qualify it as a non-repeat in my view.

Don't. It removes your timers. Changed mine from Wollongong to Sydney, and all of the timers (set on Sydney channels) disappeared.

Well, the Beyonwiz is MPEG4 compliant, not that it matters because the TV networks can't broadcast it.

Just had my brother and his family around for dinner.  Without prompting he said it was the worst digital picture he had ever seen (the SD version).

Note that, Channel minus 1 - "the worst digital picture he had ever seen". 

Unless you can do better, your new logo should be along the lines "taking sports broadcasts to new lows".

While the downscale of -1HD is truly appalling, I think it may be just slightly better than the women's soccer on the ABC. And the WNBL, for that matter. They look like they were recorded on a mobile phone.

Looks like they have sprung this one without warning for anyone sadly.

From the release that went out from Ten not everyone is changing today (with some changes not going through until next week), but at most there will be some channel name changes, and the channel associated with LCN 12 will need to change as well.

Ten have rebranded themselves in sydney today, after a rescan of channel 11 I now have:

LCN10 Ten Digital
LCN11 One HD
LCN12 One Digital

So Ten HD has moved LCNs, LCN12 now has the second SD channel (andit has an ugly great SD2 bug in the top left corner). My questions are, do ICE need to change anything at their end, and if they do when is it going to happen?

If I'd have used the FTA RPG and set a weekly recording directly on the PVR, it would have recorded fine. I certainly don't expect you guys to tamper with the content, but I would have hoped that the software was a bit smarter.

If you have Good Game set to series record, then it won't record tonight because the name is slightly different.  You have about half an hour to fix it up.

It's enough to make you buy a Tivo.

Well, it isn't tagged on the interactive tv guide web page, and since I've chosen to copy SD to HD by default, that usually means it's not broadcast in HD.

The Swans take on the Magpies at ANZ Stadium in 2nd segment of the split Round 14. The Maggies are a chance at 5th spot with a win (if the Crows lose). This is always a big game and these days in HD. So, turn down the volume, (we assume Robert I Know Everything Walls is here), grab a drink and enjoy.

It says HD on the prime HD entry; not sure what it sends to the device, because I can't actually get it to schedule on the web page, I'll have to wait until I get home and program it manually on the box (Beyonwiz).
