Title: Important IceTV Service announcement.
Post by: Daniel Hall at IceTV on November 13, 2007, 04:23:11 PM
Following our previous notifications regarding a critical service update we have removed support for all PIMP Client's up to and including version 2.0.0.15 by switching off access to these clients to improve overall performance and stability.

For those IceTV subscribers using these versions we require you to update and download the new version (IceTV Interactive version 2.0.0.16) by clicking on one of the links below;

IceTV Interactive (version 2.0.0.16) for Windows Vista (http://www.icetv.com.au/cgi-bin/downloads.cgi?op=get_file&number=13)

IceTV Interactive (version 2.0.0.16) for Windows XP (http://www.icetv.com.au/cgi-bin/downloads.cgi?op=get_file&number=7)

By doing so, you will not only see improvement from a users viewpoint but also help ensure that all users of IceTV Remote get the best possible service provided.

If you fail to perform the necessary update you will no longer be able to use IceTV Remote or be able to use the extended padding features provided and in some cases the IceTV Guide itself will also stop working. Once you have completed this update please email support@icetv.com.au to have your account re-activated.

We are aware that some EyeTV and Beyonwiz customers may get switched off incorrectly as a result of this service update. If you are having troubles accessing the guide please contact our support team either via email at support@icetv.com.au or via phone on 1300 654 803 (9am-9pm weekdays & 12pm-6pm weekends - Sydney time).

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate you taking the time to assist IceTV in this critical process.

If you incur any technical difficulties or have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact Technical Support by phone on 1300 654 803 (9am-9pm weekdays & 12-6pm weekends - Sydney time), or via email on support@icetv.com.au.

Regards,
IceTV Support Team.
