Title: Foreign Language Movies
Post by: Peter_H on July 02, 2019, 08:16:23 PM
It seems there's no easy way to tell from the guide when a movie (or show) is in a foreign language.
Any suggestions?
I live in Sydney and use Plex with IceTV XMLTV

Hi Pete,

You can see on the IceTV website what language a movie is in, along with what language the subtitles are.

Keywords and advanced searches can be done to find specific language movies as well.

We do include the spoken language within the XMLTV file that is downloaded by Plex, but it doesn't look like this is displayed within Plex itself.

Thanks Daniel,
I'll just have to hope that Plex will include it one day.  I'll keep in mind and try looking on your website.  Currently I search on Trakt to find more info about the movies. but it would be much easier to be see it in Plex in the same place that I set the recording.  The problem is probably worse now that SBS World Movies is available.  If they don't have many English movies then I might be better to just remove that from my channels list.
Regards,
Peter
