I must admit, I am still not sure I understand how to set keywords properly.
Daniel looked at them a while back and pointed out some stuff I had wrong. I thought I had fixed it all, but...
I have Adam Hills set as a keyword.
There is a "new" episode this week, but it isn't scheduled to record.
Can you tell me what is wrong with what I'm doing, please?

This one is fairly straightforward, the new episode of "Adam Hills: The Last Leg" on the 17th at 10:30pm doesn't actually have the phrase "Adam Hills" in it, it just has the word "Adam".
For this one you would be better on using the following:
title:"Adam Hills"
and this would pick up all the shows with the phrase "Adam Hills" in either the name of the show or a particular episode of a show.
