Good moaning,
My last successful fetch was at 1821 last night (22/4) and I'm getting the following error message:
The guide fetch from my android phone is working normally...
Any ideas people?
edit: Hmm. The image didn't happen either but in short it's a login failure to 'api.icetv.com.au' port=80 : Read timed out
I am also having a login failure and fetch epg on my
Beyonwiz T3
coincidently i have also just done an USB u/g to th latest f/w. released last night.
I have had one successful fetch since u/g at around 0930 this morning, after that no contact.
I did the USB update this morning as well, at about 0930, but ICE didn't update at all after 1821 yesterday. So the failure is unrelated to the update but very frustrating...
I did a manual fetch around 9:30. which worked.
But nothing since.
My fetch freq is set to 15 mins and has been working like that "forever"
I may regress back just for completeness.
That was my thinking initially until I checked the website and saw when my last update was... I should have had updates all last night and this morning prior to the firmware install so I'm pretty sure that the problem is at the ICE end. But if you have success I guess I'll do the same!

As I said just for completeness. Have ,just now done that using existing stored config, same result.

Thanks for that. I guess we'll need to wait until someone's on deck at ICE... :)

Yep. I was just about to post the same link!

The ping isn't necessarily indicative (http://www.beyonwiz.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=11091&p=152053#p152053). Similarly for traceroute.
I was also having connection problems (http://forum.icetv.com.au/iceforum/beyonwiz/17/icetv-doesnt-list-timer-deletions-before-timer-addupdate/5614/msg30046#msg30046) to the IceTV API servers yesterday.
I've contacted IceTV support.
Hi everyone, I've notified Dan
Checking it out now.
Ok, all back up and running.

Ok, all back up and running.
Confirmed! All OK now. Thanks Dan :)
Yep, looking good from my end, too.
Maybe not so good.
16:58 "Can not retrieve channel map: 502 Server Error: Bad Gateway for URL: ..."
17:13 succeeded
17:28 "Can not retrieve channel map: ... Read timed out"
17:43 succeeded
Times AEST.

hmm, lemme check.
OK, thanks.
Since then:
17:58 "Can not retrieve channel map: 502 Server Error: Bad Gateway for URL: ..."
All OK here still. Says he... trying not to invoke Murphy's Law.
Ok, I have isolated the issue, now to fix it...
And yes, it is intermittent so not everyone will be seeing the issue right now (and of course its different to the earlier issue... :o )
Thanks, Daniel.
Ok, all good now, will monitor for a bit.
One oddity I noticed in this was that the "Can not retrieve channel map: 502 Server Error: Bad Gateway for URL: ..." errors had their error detail in HTML rather than JSON. Is that how it's supposed to be?
My test Beyonwiz T4 is having no problems getting IceTV updates this morning.

Not generally, but in this case it was coming from the web server itself rather than the backend application server, so it didn't respect the content type.
OK. Thanks, Daniel.
