Title: 10HD (LCN13) Melbourne starts March 2
Post by: IanL-S on February 25, 2016, 04:26:27 PM
This service is advertised as commencing on Wednesday March 2; are we to assume that EPG data will be provided from commencement as it has the same content as Ten?

You are correct. As it is just a simulcast of Ten the guide will be available right away.

Thankfully Ten are adding an extra channel and not re-arranging their existing channels. So a simple channel scan for the Ten network's frequency (219.5MHz or 219500 kHz) and you are done.

It feels like 2007 again with new HD simulcasts of the main SD channels coming online (again).

"Who's Getting Ten HD? The new channel will be available in Australia's six major metropolitan markets of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and the Gold Coast."
