Title: Problems with my ICEbox2
Post by: h45e on December 02, 2006, 06:47:43 PM
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone else is having problems, I basically cant connect to the icebox 4 times out of 5, I always have to pull out the power to the icebox to perform a reboot and then 4 times out of 5 it doesnt want to work. I set the ip to static ip so I know what the ip is.
Just dont know what else to do

Hi h45e,

If you could also post some more details about your setup, it might be helpful - what model of router you are connecting to, whether wireless or cabled - that sort of thing....  if wireless, do you have any cordless phobnes or other sources of interference nearby?

Cheers,
Brian H

Nps,

Router: Netgear Rangemax DG834PN (wifi)
Phone: 1.8ghz cordless

I do have a 2.4ghz av sender unit but it does work with the icebox2. Past couple of days, it has been working but now all of a sudden it has stoped working.

I'm by no means on expert on this stuff - but if you were to try accessing the Icebox2 with cable for a while, if that shows the same problem then it would indicate issues within the Icebox2, otherwise it would point to the wireless bits...

Don't know what else to suggest... sorry...
