I know topics like this have been done to death, but with the tragic passing of Ice TV, I thought it might be worthwhile consolidating the best TAP(s) to use to replace the service. It may be a handy reference for any distraught visitors that have never used TAPs before (like myself) over these next few days. What ones do you use to most closely match Ice TV?
TMSAutoScheduler
JustEPG
TMSTimer
TMSArchive
Which of these do you need - some of them? All of them? Any advice appreciated.
I use SmartEPG TMS on my non-IceTV Toppys. I also use TMSArchive. You have to be careful using TMSTimer if you use SmartEPG TMS.
And for remote control of the Toppy you cannot go past WebControl (to get the most out of it you also need to run TMSRemote).

PS Not the best time for Topfield to release a new PVR the main advantage of which (in addition to TAP support) was IceTV.
