Title: Seven's EPG Data
Post by: cam on September 17, 2010, 07:54:00 PM
Hi,

Anyone finding that the channel seven EPG data is a bit off (Adelaide)?

E.g. my 7-mate (the HD channel) says home and away is on (7-7:30 Friday), whereas really the footy is screening right now.

Yep,
Perth is off too.

I've noticed 7HD (70) is now named 7-mate (which is the new channel 7 are releasing on the 25th September) and there's no 7HD guide anymore...

Also, 9HD has also been renamed to GEM (9's new channel for later this year).

Icetv, are you guys going to release a news item detailing the changes soon? as currently the guide for 7HD is way out.

Same here Melbourne seems we are getting Sydney guides for 7Mate and Gem.
No Rugby Leauge here on Gem at 7:30 and 7Mate has the Afl on at 7:30 not Better Homes.

But at least it my team ahead a half time in the AFL (Go Pies!)

Hi

Sorry, we have been doing some testing for the new HD channels. All future 7mate and GEM channels temporarily took their feed from Sydney (which is what will happen when they actually start).

7HD and 9HD should be fine now in all regions.

We will be sending out an email re. these new channels next week.

Thanks

I have totally lost channel 70 overnight, rescan doesn't resolve.  73 appears to have 7mate-icetv profile? Please tell me this is not a permanent thing, will I need to reprogram my wife's series! :-(

7maaate will replace Seven HD. It will have different programming from Seven Digital and 7TWO.

Thanks for the update - was there a non-forum notification about this somewhat major change?

Yes. Try Googling 7mate. You'll find plenty of articles & press releases about it, including an item on Yahoo!7 and even a Wikipedia article.

No, 7HD and 9HD are not fine in Melbourne as per my post http://forum.icetv.com.au/iceforum/index.php?topic=2693.0 (http://forum.icetv.com.au/iceforum/index.php?topic=2693.0)
