Post by: Daniel Hall at IceTV on November 16, 2009, 04:30:10 PM
More details under the news section at IceTV now supports Windows 7 (http://www.icetv.com.au/news/?p=1382).

Setup guides and downloads can now be found at Setting up IceTV and Windows 7 Media Center (http://www.icetv.com.au/cgi-bin/websupport.cgi?op=show_faq&faq_id=154&faq_cat_id=30).

Edit: fixed links

Good now it is released it will be "officially supported" - I've lodged a support call regarding the issues I am having with the lack of content returned in Searches in Win7 Media Center and some programmes not appearing as Series (but both issues are not occurring on my Vista Media Center setup - only on the Win7 Setup)

Hi Guys,

Great to see Win 7 is now officially supported, however, what was the outcome on the padding issue?

Are we still using the MC7 defaults, or has Padding (greater than 2 minutes) been included in the final relaese of Interactive?

They removed the custom channel padding in favour of the 7MC defaults, which are quite good IMHO. The latest version seems to have an option for per-channel padding which is disabled, so perhaps it's a sign that an upcoming version may include this which would be awesome.

Is there changelog anywhere of what is going into the new versions? The current padding issues of 3.0.0.7 highlight that if we know what's going into the new version, we can assist with the testing/bug identification/tracking. What do you think? If a changelog exists, my apologies - please point me in the right direction.

ditto to that question, which remains unanswered - we now have 3.0.0.8 out today - but have no idea what issues it's supposed to address - it would help if we could get an indication of what it resolves and any new features in it
