I have searched through many a forums and can't seem to find a direct answer to my questions...hopefully someone can assist...
I am looking at purchasing a 7100 (had a 5000 that died and had to use ICEguide4Topfield to update the EPG) and would be looking at IceTV again - I am trying to determine if these will be compatible with my MAC - ie updating the Toppy with the EPG etc
Also I can seem to find that I can enable the wireless with the 7100 with compatible usb dongle, but can't seem to find a list of compatible wifi dongles.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Kylie
The Topfield 7100 comes with a WiFi dongle in the box. With either Wifi or Ethernet plugged in and set up, it updates it's EPG automatically, so no computer is needed.
So you're definitely safe with a Mac!
I believe you can also FTP into the Topfield 7100 to move files to and from it. So again, you're fine with a Mac, provided you have an FTP client, like Transmit (http://www.panic.com/transmit/) or Cyberduck (http://cyberduck.ch/).
Cheers! Have ordered the 7100
