Check in task manager if the IceTV app is using lots of CPU resources. If it is, shut down the IceTV app then delete the IceTV sub folders under the hidden ProgramData folder.

Thanks for your advice. Even though the program didn't use lots of CPU resources, I tried by removing the above mentioned folders but it didn't help. The issue still remains.

Whenever I perform any of this actions on PC: Log off, Restart or Shut down, the IceTV application does not respond to it. I have to force end it or PC wouldn't restart. If perform exit from Notification area before logging off everything works fine.
I tried to uninstall it several times and running it as administrator but it didn't help. I'm running version 3.0.0.31 on Win 7 64-bit OS.
How can I fix this?

Because Australia won the third test, there is no fifth day shown on Ch. 9. Why is EPG still showing it? >:(

IceTV EPG Content / Re: Repeats
November 23, 2010, 06:48:28 PM
The Graham Norton Show, now showing on ABC2, is not a repeat but a new Series 8. Check your facts or list of episodes here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Graham_Norton_Show_episodes#Series_8_.282010-2011.29.

Thanks, for updating it, but the EPG on my PC hasn't been updated. It started recording as per old EPG entry, which was Fraser. This is not the first time it was happening that changes weren't properly propagated. The last time this was messed up when Ugly Betty was moved to another time slot. You guys need to fix this. This is very bad! >:(

IceTV EPG Content / Why is "Chuck" not listed?
May 10, 2010, 07:00:44 PM
Ch 9 has advertised the start of the series "Chuck" on GO! channel here in Sydney on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m., but IceTV guide is not showing it. I've checked TV Guide on yourtv.com.au and it's scheduled there. Any chance for IceTV to get up to speed with changes?

IceTV EPG Content / Daylight Saving Drama
April 05, 2010, 07:25:03 PM
This is really bad! I've never seen such a mess before. After the clock went back one hour on Sunday all my scheduling went wrong, especially for those shows (or series) that were scheduled before the daylight savings change. I'm using IceTV guide for Windows 7. Re-sending IceTV guide data didn't help. I had to cancel each show and schedule it again to get it fixed.
Is this IceTV problem? I think it is. >:(

IceTV EPG Content / Missed anepisode of Ugly Betty
January 30, 2010, 09:44:22 AM
For some, to me, unknown reason 7 TWO has added another episode of Ugly Betty on Tuesday, which IceTV hasn't picked up so it didn't get recorded. I wonder if that was a last minute change of the programming or you guys just missed it. The only reason I dumped IceTV last year is because you guys didn't update your TV guide on time so I missed some programs that were re-scheduled or added after the TV Guide was published in the newspapers.
Are you planning to do a better job this year with up-to-date changes or should I dump IceTV again for inaccuracy?

I fixed my problem (not starting with Windows) this way:

1. Right click on IceTV application and select "Run as administrator"
2. Startup tab
3. If Run when Windows starts is selected, click it again to deselect and press apply.
4. Now, select it again and press apply.

After I performed above steps it finally started with Windows. Good luck.

Windows Media Center / Re: Padding not working
January 12, 2010, 09:53:05 PM
Thanks to nac6 I've downgraded my IceTV from 3.0.0.7 to 3.0.0.4 version, but it didn't fix the padding issue for already scheduled programs. I'll try to schedule a new one adn see what happens.

Edit: The padding is working again with the new scheduled programs, so I need to reschedule the existing ones so that the padding is also included. :)

Windows Media Center / Re: Padding not working

It doesn't work with my Media Centre either. I've got problems with padding at the start of the recording where there's no padding even though I've got setting for 2 minutes padding in MC. The end of the recording is padded OK. This problem appeared with the latest SW release. Should we downgrade to previous release?

Windows Media Center / Inaccurate Tv Guide and recordings
December 21, 2009, 09:10:18 PM
I've noticed the following issues with the IceTV on Win 7:

1. A few weeks ago when I scheduled recording of John Adams on SBS HD it actually recorded from SD channels not from prefered HD although it did show in interactive that the recordings were scheduled on HD. The first 2 episodes were recorded from SD channel only the follow bu 3rd recorded on HD.

2. I've set up scheduled recordings of SGU on Ten every Monday but for some reason the guide on 21st was showing it was Supernatural on starting at 8:30 p.m. not SGU. By my surprise the show, which I scheduled as SGU was still recorded on time, but as Supernatural.

3. For some reason IceTV on my second HTPC doesn't startup with the Windows even though the Startup with Win 7 is enabled.

Are there more surprises in store from IceTV like those above? Have you guys really nailed the behaviour of Win 7?

Here's are some details of my system and location: Both systems are running Win 7 and I'm located in Sydney.

Edit: I've solved the item No 3 above by running the application as administrator and selecting Run when Windows starts again.

Ok, Thanks, that was a big help. :)

Thanks, Gary, I know about that option. Th eproblem is it's not selective on a per channel basis. If select it, it would probably copy for all TV stations and not just ABC.

Why is guide for ABC HDTV shown as Unknown? Couldn't IceTV just copy ABC1 into it? I can't record anything from it using EPG. BTW, I live in Sydney.
