make sure that ABC2 is using the Ice guide listings. Seems like it finds 3 ABC2's, but none of them are using the ICE guide so it bails.

do this in media center

settings -> TV -> guide -> edit channels

then scroll down to 22 and see whats next to it. mine says:

(tick)      22             ABC2-IceTV



if it doesn't say that, click it and then click edit listings.

scroll down to ABC2 - IceTV

click it, then click save, and it should work.....




then again it might not.....

If you're looking for reliability, I would say the safe bet is to avoid it while it's in Beta at the very least.

all my recordings seem to have failed for Windows7 through interactive.

My EPG is all correct, and my guide listings all show the channel with "-ice TV" at the end. Not sure what I've done wrong?


EDIT: WOOOOO! Deleting and refinding all my existing channels, then assigning the guides to each channel individually has worked. Now the last hurdle is to actually have one of them record. Should be fine tho.

The epg is all working, so is everything else, now i'm just waiting for the Interactive info to come through with my shows so media centre will start recording them.... 10min without anything tho.


EDIT! Just realised i have to reschedual all my recordings for WIN7!  Is there any way to just copy them from vista to win7?

DAMN IT! I was gonna make a post like that....but i thought....noooooooooooo..... the moderators wouldn't like someone talking crap in their shiny new forum....

So anyways..... When's the beta for Interactive on Windows7 being released? MAYBE TODAY?!?!?!? Possible tomorrow? I don't mind when it is as long as i get access to it right now. You can all suffer as I use my shiny new interactive and tall everyone how cool it is on the forums....

Speaking of Windows7.......there's something about the desktop that just doesn't seem right to me.....I think it's the items on the task bar when you have stuff open.....i dunno....just seems like it isn't very intuitive.

Oh and isn't it weird that ICE has opened this forum without posting anything in it? It's almost like their asking us to come in here and spam it up with our uninformed nonsense. But I suppose it's better to have all the useless crap in here rather than having it spread around all the other forums....

So much crap to install before it's properly usable for work tho >.<

I checked and i had 2 things in there, UFC and Celebrity master chef, i deleted them all..... I wonder if that'll fix it...

Since Win7 is now officially on the market to the public, I just wanted to know where the link was to get to the download for the Win7 interactive Beta. It must be around here somewhere.... I'm sure it must have just been misplaced, an easy mistake to make!

me too! Phantom recordings. Usually occurring late at night, around 11pm, random channels, tend to get David Letterman a lot.

should be around the 22nd......when windows7 as released to the public properly. As far as i can tell ICE are using every last second to make the win7 EPG and interactive as bug free as possible. Sounds like a good idea to me.
