Just saw an ad, they are showing he Shawshank Redemption at 8.30.  Just thought I'd let you know

I just realised that I can record HD on my PC  with Media Centre ;D  (without having to convert anything, in order to watch it, like I would have to on the Toppy)  So, I set it up to record Smallville, with the appropriate padding.  Only one problem  :P It decided that the first episode clashes with the second.  The only way I can get it to record both is to remove the padding, but I don't really want to do that.  Is there another way I'm not seeing?  ???

I don't think tonight's episode (Judge John Deed - One Angry Man) is a repeat.  It seems to follow on from the last ep shown

I just saw an ad for Grey's Anatomy at 10pm.  I looked in the program guide, it is meant to be William & Mary.  Checked on the widget, it has W&M.  Looked on Australian TV guide, they have Grey's Anatomy, albeit a repeat, with W&M following at 11.

BTW, I have a complaint.   ;D.  Last night on 7, there were 2 episodes of Criminal Minds.  The second one was marked as a repeat, so I didn't tape it.  When I went to edit the padding off the end of the first one, I discovered that it wasn't a repeat.  Unfortunately I only got to see the first 10 minutes or so.

Next Wednesday, at midnight, there is a Hungarian movie on SBS

For some reason, Ice has it at midday Tuesday and for 5 minutes.  :-)

I was just looking at the Ice Widget and noticed that both 12 lunchtime and 12 midnight are marked as 12am.  Not sure if this is something new or has always been like that, but this could explain the above error (although not how  a 2 1/4 hour movie is shown as going for 5 minutes

Is a Repeat.  I still have it in my favourites for some reason, but I don't think there are any new shows left to show

Just checked - the last show aired in the US on 16 May 04.  About time I remove it from my favourties.  ;D

I use TEDS and have it set not to record repeats.  This is a great feature, except....   :P  I have noticed a few times (mostly on Channel 10 shows) that a show has been marked by Ice as repeat when it wasn't. (sometimes the other way around  ;D)   I understand that on 10 with the way they keep running repeats in the middle of the season, it is very hard to keep up, and I also realise that Ice gets the info from other sources, but there has been a few occasions when all other guides I could see didn't mark it a repeat, except Ice.  Each time this happens, I consider writing, or phoning, but then I figure, it isn't such a big deal.  I suppose, I am just lazy, don't want to have to check to see if a show is repeat or not.  I love to be able to automate it all.   ;D

This time, I actually noticed a day ahead, so I thought I'd mention it.  Tomorrow's Alias is not a repeat.   On the other hand, Monday night's Oz (on SBS) is.  :D
