ICE behind ISA Server 2004

Hi,

My MCE is behind my companies ISA firewall, and I am getting error 407 when i try to run ICE setup.

Any glues?

The problem is probably a configuration issue in the ISA server.

The most relevant article is on Microsoft Support (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/885819/) which details
problems getting information from Windows Update via an ISA server (Windows
Update also uses the BITS protocol which is what MCE uses to download the actual guide data).

It would be worth looking at the workaround they suggest on this page, but instead substitute the domain name of *.windowsupdate.com with *.icetv.com.au

You must set the rule to "all" outgoing services not only to HTTP & HTTPS (thanks Sepp for discovering this).
