I found that I had to delete all of my previous favourites and series recording using interactive wait a day then reload them to get the timers to upload to my MacMini. All of the timers managed to work except for "Good News Week" tonight on Ten, the timer appeared but contained no Metadata. I think this is more to do with the channel ten updates and the mapping of channels on eyetv than anything to do with Ice.

The other thing I have had to do was set the mini to be always on with the hard drive set to turn off when not required instead of allowing the mac mini to sleep and eyetv to wake the mini to check the timers. I have read in a few forums that OSX 10.5 has trouble with the wake up function.

It would be good if interactie gave you the ability to delete all favourites and all timers, in case you decide to delete everything and start again. I have a lot of favourites that I don't care about too much, but can't be bothered deleting individually.

The fact that the programs update after deleting and re setting in interactive seems like there was a bug with Ice. I love what the Ice guys are doing and I'm not too concerned by a few bugs every now and then.

EyeTV / Re: Remote Scheduling Broken ?

I downloaded the 10.5.5 update and I thought it was fixed but no dice.

Both single episodes and series refuse to update without intervention.

I'm thinking that it might be a problem with my wireless network and connection to the net.
I Just updated to Eyetv 3.1 so see if that helps anything.

I'm having the same problem with series recording.
I'm having to resort to resending all recordings from my account a few times a week to get stuff to record.

Single episodes are fine.

I am still having similar issues most of which occur on a Monday night:
•   â€œLateline” on the ABC keeps appearing on a Monday in “My Upcoming Shows”, which should probably be “Enough Rope,” even though it didn’t record
•   Late last night the RSS feed for “My Upcoming Shows” showed that “Supernatural” had successfully recorded, which probably should have been “Good News Week”

My biggest issue at present related to the above is that “Enough Rope” is showing up in the “My Upcoming Shows” as a favourite with series recording scheduled, however, it does not show up on the EyeTV schedule and does not record. This has happened a few weeks in a row now and it is getting a little frustrating.
I have an Elgato Diversity on my Mac mini set to dual tuners with two other shows (“Good News Week” on Ten and “Bogan” on SBS) recording concurrently just prior to the start of “Enough Rope,” so I know it is not a tuner issue.  I have set the buffering to 1 minute of buffering before and 2 minutes of buffering after each program leaving a 1 minute gap of no recording for both tuners before the scheduled start time of 9.35 for “Enough Rope” so it shouldn’t be a scheduling conflict issue.

Is there something else that could be causing the problem?

As an aside I have also noticed is that the RSS feed for my upcoming shows appears after the shows have gone to air. Wrong forum I know but has anyone else noticed this?

Thanks Juzzman, I was about to post on exactly the same thing.

I was trying to set Spicks and Specs to record tonight but I'm getting the 7.30 report instead.

I'm guessing it has something to do with day light savings starting this week.

Unfortunately I can't check till i get home whether it has updated correctly.
