7 WA - 7News Regional WA

Hi all,
There is Channel 7 WA has a News program that starts at 5:30pm and runs till 6pm called 7News Regional. That is currently listed as the Chase.
Pretty sure they run a shortened version of Seven News at 4pm, that runs for 1/2 an hour (instead of an hour) and the Chase starts at 4:30 for this region and runs till 5:30pm.

This is Monday to Friday and not on weekends

Hi Buster,

It looks like GWN has been renamed as part of the regional takeover by 7 to just be called 7 now.

We have renamed our GWN channel to avoid confusion to be '7 Regional' as an interim measure until we get all the channel logos and proper names in place for that channel.

One thing to note is that in that region the channel '7 Digital' is actually a copy of Perth's 7 Digital and is not the regional guide data, and this is what the mapping data reflects at the moment as well.

Yes looking at the timings of the programs, I thought that may be the case that it was Perth's programming.

How long do you think it will take to get the inclusion of the 7News Regional WA as a program to be added for 7 regional?

Hi Buster,

It is already there under the channel that was previously named GWN, but which we have just renamed to '7 Regional', if you use that channel instead you will be seeing the correct data.
