Humax / Re: New firmware 1.07?

I've got standby OFF. When it's ON the box takes longer to boot (annoying) but it seems to refresh the EPG every time.

I updated to 1.07 a few days ago, did a system reset including a format of the HDD.

Everything ran smooth and my scheduled recordings worked fine until this morning the EPG was blank... after a power cycle it came back instantly but for how long?  >:(

Humax / Re: Issues with Program Guide?
March 21, 2012, 06:26:59 PM
I've had the exact same problem since mid/late February and it keeps occurring on a daily basis now.

I'm glad that IceTV have confirmed the bug but Humax support so far has been non-existant after emailing them twice about this issue. Hopefully we'll get a new firmware soon...

Humax / Re: Loss of IceTV guide on new firmware

I think IceTV had some server problems last week so it may have been a coincidence markb.

Thanks, swamprat96 I'll give that a try next time it happens... so far it's been OK.

Also, I did get a reply from Humax. They just told me to do a factory reset after I told them in the email that I already tried that ::)
Worst "support" ever...

Does anyone know if I can go back to the previous 1.04.00 firmware if it keeps happening?

Humax / Loss of IceTV guide on new firmware
February 09, 2012, 08:20:42 PM
I've got an issue with my Humax HDR7500T and it looks like I'm not the only one...
IceTV support say this is a known issue and told me to contact Humax support directly, which I did but haven't heard back from yet.

The IceTV guide completely disappears at random ever since I updated to the latest 1.05.01 firmware.
The only way to get it back is to power cycle the unit using the power switch on the rear. Once it restarts the IceTV guide is restored successfully.
This is really annoying as everything comes up blank or worse yet - none of my scheduled recordings work.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

For some reason my 7100 is not recording on both its HD tuners anymore when I set up a recording via IceTV...

Last night I had it set to record 2 channels: SBS HD and Ten at around the same time via IceTV interactive. The show on SBS HD started first and so did the recording (like it normally would) but as soon as the show on Ten started the 7100 stopped recording SBS HD and switched to recording channel Ten only instead of using both of its HD tuners to record both shows like it should!

It used to work fine for me before, only recently I've noticed its started to do this. I've been running the latest firmware: 20090317.upd (V1.00.47) and manual recording on both HD tuners works fine!

Has anyone else experienced something like this? I'm thinking that I should just do a firmware restore or reload the firmware completely from a USB stick and see if that fixes the issue, unless there is something else I can try?

Topfield / Re: Guide missing completely
March 18, 2009, 10:41:08 PM
I agree with previous posts here, the 7100 & IceTV are quite unreliable...

My guide vanished tonight too! it worked fine yesterday after I updated to the latest beta firmware which strangely seems to be the most stable... I can ping the server and I get a reply but no guide comes up on any channel...

I also have a Mac with EyeTV setup with IceTV and that hasn't had any problems for days... looks like Topfield are more at fault than IceTV?
