MY Beyonwiz has given up on me and I want to try and keep with the Icetv service and see about giving the BYOB a go. I have a spare NUC PC with the specifications as follows-

Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) J4005 CPU @ 2.00GHz 2.00GHz
Installed RAM: 4.00 GB (3.68 GB usable)
Storage: will need to upgrade to 1 TB

I would plan to purchase the 4 tuner sticks and splitter from ICETV.

LibreELEC on which the IceBox is built should run without difficulty on that hardware. I am running it on a NUC with an i5-4250 CPU (released in 2015) and that is way before the CUP on you NUC (which I think was released in 2017). I had a different NUC style PC with only 4GB of RAM which ran IceBox firmware without issue.

To clarify, you would only need 2 tuner sticks as they a dual tuners. Four tuners should be OK. If you have a USB tuner from your Beyonwiz it should also be recognized.

I would recommend getting the RCU as it make navigation much easier than using mouse + keyboard.
