I am getting large holes in my EPG data on Eyetv. For example right now, 99 Go shows nothing for 8:30pm, GEM is missing multiple programs, and other holes are littered throughout the EPG.

I have reset the EPG and redownloaded the data multiple times with no luck. I can see the programs in the iPhone guide, but no luck on the television.

Have also reselected IceTV as the EPG source on the offending channels...

Any suggestions?

Hi Matt,

With blanks in the EyeTV program guide, when running IceTV Accelerator, the easiest option is just to delete both the preferences file and the cached information while the IceTV Accelerator app is closed, and then re-open the IceTV Accelerator app.

Can you please delete the preferences within IceTV Accelerator as follows:

1. Close IceTV Accelerator from the OS X main menu (near the clock).
2. Open the Library folder that is in your home/user folder. If you cannot see the Library folder do the following:
    - In Finder, highlight your home/user folder,
    - Press Command+J to open the folder's view options,
    - Select 'Show Library Folder',
    - Now you can open the Library folder.
3. Next, open the Preferences folder.
4. Find and delete the file named com.icetv.IceTV-Accelerator.plist
5. Go back to the Library folder.
6. Open the Application Support folder.
7. Delete the entire IceTV Accelerator folder.
8. Start the IceTV Accelerator application and it will download and re-cache the guide and schedules automatically.

Then clear out the EyeTV 3 cache as follows:

1. Start EyeTV.
2. Go into the Program Guide screen of EyeTV.
3. Click on the 'Gear' icon at the top of the screen.
4. Select "Clear EPG Database" and answer yes to really clear the EPG database.
Note: If "Clear EPG Database" is greyed out please reboot the computer then try the last 3 steps again.

After clearing EyeTV's cached information it will grab fresh guide information from the IceTV Accelerator.
cheers
