There are a few options.
Normally a new show not have the Repeat flag so just recording first runs will solve the issue.
If there are multiple shows that are not flagged as repeats, you can restrict your recording criteria by the number of episodes per day to record, or specify the time of the episode you want to record.  These are a couple of the advanced features in series recordings.

I noticed this morning that it was rescheduled.

Does anybody know what happened to "NCIS New Orleans - Sister City Part 2" as part of the rescheduling?

NCIS New Orleans - Sister City Part 2 was originally scheduled on Sunday on Ten, but disappeared once the changes were made.
It was the second part of an earlier NCIS Episode Sister City Part 1[/size][size=78%].[/size]
[/size]Does anyone know what happened to the episode?[size=78%]

The Melbourne Guide shows that the Movie - Kenny is on at 8:40pm.


However, SBS have been advertising the movie Schindler's List and it is in their Guide as the same.


Can we have the IceTV Guide updated please?

I thought the answer was going to be something like that.
So I should expect further issues going forward on more of the channels.
Is this a shortcoming in Extenders in general, or maybe the Linksys Extender I use?
Is there some way I can force Media Center to save the programs in a format the extender can access?
All the files are WTV format I thought, but I understand that the content may differ.

Can someone please help me here?
Thanks to IceTV and smart recordings, one of my wife's shows automatically got recorded last night on the new channel 7flix.
When we went to watch it on the Extender that we have it says that the format is not supported.
Can anyone tell me what formatting there is specific to 7flix that is not on the other channels?

I think it means that it couldn't find it on your device in the EPG.
To me it indicates that your device hasn't refreshed its Guide Data recently enough to have the program in it.
If you reschedule it and the guide has been updated in the meantime, it will succeed in rescheduling.
I had the same thing happen yesterday with recording the NEWS for Friday night.  It's almost like the programs were released a bit early.

but flagged as a Repeat.

I may be mistaken, but I think the Fortitude episode on Tuesday 11:10PM (Melb) is not a repeat.

Aha. Never thought of that. Was a bit distracted by Blindspot coming soon when it's been on for a month.

Yeah guys.  That's my point.  Blindspot and Quantico have been there for ages as coming soon.  They've now been on for a month or more and there's been no updates to the programs in coming soon.
Normally these mirror the programs suggested in the weekly email.
