I will add my +1 here too.  I thought my android app was playing up, then when accessing via the web on the android phone, still didn't work, thought my phone network connection was playing up till I saw other web pages were fine, and tried on the PC and still had issues.

Is this spam by any chance emails with titles like "blah blah BLEW YOU A KISS" and "Dear blah, how about an ENCOUNTER WITHOUT OBLIGATIONS?" "blah SENT YOU A FRIEND REQUEST"  etc etc (I get 5 or 6 of these damn things a day now, nearly all of them with the last few words in uppercase, with  links to an image which, if you even open the email, will download the image and let the spam mongrels know you are real, the stat server is a different URL in most of these emails, but when you traceroute/ping, nearly all go to the same server.    It is driving me insane, and it is an email address I tend to only sign up to trustworthy things with!

Have you had your Toppy power supply refurbed at any point?  If not, I would suggest misbehaving is the voltages starting to go out of spec and causing the HDD to be mis-read and/or not read at all, and USB issues etc.

I had the same prob with the android app recently, I have been using tonymy01 forever, but suddenly it was asking me for the account email which I had no clue which of my 5 email accounts I was using for ICE... took quite a bit of time to get logged into the app and up and running!

I didn't get one either..

I had a smooth transition this time around.   I have a Beyonwiz, and did the following steps.
1. Set my UTC offset from +11 to +10 (I run NTP network time as my option, so no discrete DST on/off option).
2. Go to the last menu to clear all timers
3. Go to ICEtv account page, find my PVR, and choose "resend all timers".
Done.... finally worked properly.   In the past when I purged timers from the timer list with the delete key, it was sending ICE a "he doesn't want this timer for this week" message instead, so the resend all timers was useless as ICE had already essentially decided I didn't want to watch the show for this week.   Thankfully Beyonwiz introduced the clear all timers option in a more recent (could have been more than a year ago now LOL) firmware.

The only way to resolve the "he didn't want to record the show for this week" issue I had in the past was to go to my week and individually select all shows one by one and reschedule (individual record option), pain in the butt.

Just as a check, how does the PVR clock look? I can imagine a situation like you ate explaining arise from the PVR date or time suddenly changing, which is possible with a dodgy broadcaster when the PVR is set to Auto time.

That looks like the one I used to update the power to my SLUG.    As long as you do the + to tip and - to ring (I don't have an icebox, but 99% of things use that standard..) it should be fine.

my Beyonwiz is happily retrieving the EPG every day.

ICE EPG, or free to air?  Have you put the ICE details correctly into the Wiz setup? (You should be seeing it polling for EPG and timers with a count-down like counter, when you first put your details in, you will see all the status information in the status box on the Wiz screen).

The Topfield just needs to be switched on for more than 30 mins for it to fetch from ice. Of course all the Topfield IP, gateway, and dns need to be set correctly to work properly on your LAN.

Freeview gives us the flexability and choice , now ,  whether one watches their show in primetime, on the 1st night of airing, or the following afternoon .. it would be nice if IceTV enabled the functionaility to be able to 'record' with this same flexability/granularity.

If you disable 'padding priority' in the wiz, but set padding minutes, it won't interfere with any scheduling you have, the standard (timer created) timeslots will always be recorded and you only lose your padding in the event of a clash.

Yay, my favourite ' view unread posts' is back, thankfully sanity prevails, the other interim junk was soooooooo annoying to keep having to click the ' view recent threads' link each time you hit the back button from a thread and then try to work out whether you had read that thread already.

Umm.. .hahaha, as if a commercial company can record FTA TV, and sell it to people, who are you kidding really if you think there is some eutopia where that would be possible  ??? :P
