I've been hanging out since Grey's Anatomy ended last season to find out who dies in the episode.  Needless to say I was pretty peeved to have read the episode description on ICETV's EPG that indicated who died.

Can I make a suggestion that in future, ICETV don't put spoilers in the episode description.  A simple change from 'Part one of the season opener sees the staff dealing with their distress over George's death.' to something like 'Part one of the season opener sees the staff dealing with their distress over a colleague's death.' or something would have sufficed.

Just a suggestion.

I've been having a lot of problems lately getting updates to the Wiz.  I usually have to switch off the wiz into standby, switch it back on, and then resend the recordings.

I don't have any network problems though as wiztv and everything still works fine so I was at a loss as to why it seemed so flaky.

Anyway, I just did a stupid thing and deleted the device completely and re-added it to see if that helps.. not realizing that i'd lose all my 'My Shows' that I slowly built up over the months.

Is there any way of getting them back or do I have to start from scratch again?

I'm having similar sort of issues however Wiztv does work so the LAN/WAN connections are fine. 

I just noticed I have no recordings scheduled past Tuesday as well.. When I go into the Interactive webpage and choose My Upcoming shows it's completely empty yet the TV Guide webpage shows I have recordings on Wednesday and further.

There's definately something weird going on.

For some reason in my IceTV Interactive on the web, I have one program 'Grey's Anatomy' that I have set up as a Keyword record.  No matter what I do, I can't seem to remove it.  On all my other keyword records, if I click on the name, it expands and I can 'Delete' Keyword.  I now have Grey's Anatomy 3 times in the list, and none of them expand so I can't seem to delete the keyword. 

Any idea how to fix this?  I'm just wondering if it's broken because it has an apostophe in the name.

Channel 7 Sydney has been announcing for several days that the movie Cadet Kelly will be aired on Saturday 13/12 at 6:30pm just before The Santa Clause.  If you look at other EPG's such as YourTV, it also shows this, however the IceTV EPG seems to show Brittania High and Dance Machine on during those times.

One more really good feature would be to have the option of skipping a recording until further notice.

Eg.  I have lots of keyword records, and series records, etc.  I go on holidays for a month and don't want to record the shows.  Have the ability to skip all recordings until I return.  Saves having to remove it all.  I can adjust keyword records to favourite to get around the issue, but it doesn't help the other series records.  Turning off the PVR doesn't help either because while i'm on holiday I may want specific programs to be recorded.

Maybe have a 'skip' option  in the ACTION section for keyword records/favourites and a 'skip' option in the RECORD section of normal series records.

Another option would be to have a button on the website for backup and restore of current setup.  I think the above is still needed though.

There's also other circumstances where you may want to skip certain programs eg. a special is on that you don't want to miss and can sacrifice an upcoming recording so having this option would be great.

One other feature request would be to include the keyword information in the Yahoo widget.  I know you can do the searches in the widget, but it would be good to list the current keyword searches in the My Shows section just like it does on the website.

I've noticed the networks have been doing a lot of foxtel type repeats lately.  The Final 24, Inside Al Quaeda, Saddam Hussein (whatever it was called).  It's one thing showing repeats in general, it's another showing the same program within days of each other.  I hope this isn't a sign of things to come from the networks.

They've also been showing series episodes multiple times a week such as Bones, Eli Stone, etc

I really hope this is just a temporary thing because it's around christmas break, and not them showing less content more often.

Shame i'll probably miss out on the discount offer though..  I'll see how it goes once I have a new CC.
