IceTV has been modifying their servers while setting up to support the Beyonwiz T3. Coincidence?? Maybe - I have my suspicions!

Can't get channel list.

As Paul55 says I too am wondering if it has something to do with the T3 support. I am evaluating the T3 IceTV beta software here In Adelaide
and channel 7, all network channels, do not populate on the IceTV guide, so obviously any timers set for any 7 network channel are failing.

I am having issues with  the new interactive web and Safari browser on my iMac. The previous and next 6 hour buttons are not responding. Tried Firefox and OK on there.

It would be nice if IceTV publicly stated on here what is the progress with any talks with Humax and whether there is likely to be compatibility in the short or long term. I would have thought it would be in IceTV's interest, if people are going out and buying this unit and it will never be IceTV compatible, then they have lost that business. I personally will not buy it if there is no compatibility.

there is limited info out there on features/UI/specs etc. I have one on order at HN in SA - they are saying 1-2 weeks  :(

I just cannot understand all the secrecy behind this product. I certainly would not be ordering one yet until I can be satisfied that it is suitable.
To get any info out of Humax is like getting blood from a stone! I find it ridiculous, I think I will be awaiting until others have bought it and report back,
it could be a load of rubbish!

Release date today, bit of a non event really! From their Facebook page they have released some to a few Harvey Norman stores in Victoria. Still no detailed specs, still no word if it will be IceTV compatible. Their website still says "launching soon". The replacement for my Toppy is looking more like the Beyonwiz T3!

If this has IceTV support might have to get one to replace my useless Topfield 2460!

Was not a good update for me, was getting continuous reboot loop. Narrowed it down to the wireless dongle, removed it and the rebooting stopped. Luckily I had a spare Asus wifi to LAN adapter and that works fine.

I'm usually the same, but having issues with Topfields in the past I took up the option. My 2460 died after United when through the hoop and I got it repaired by a local electronics chap.
I agree with you, I would say that IceTV would have received a commission.

I also had the United warranty, which i"m afraid is now worthless. IceTV will not honour it, I made enquiries, as they were only selling the option, they are not the provider of the warranty.

Humax / Re: Wi-Fi Static IP
July 13, 2013, 11:41:02 AM
I got around it by enabling DHCP on my router, then activating Wi-Fi on the Humax, then changing the IP settings on the Lan/Wi-Fi menu, then disabling DHCP in the router and all is OK. I may review my whole network setup at some stage and reserve static IP's on the router instead of all the clients as Doc suggested.

On the Humax, the DHCP setting is in the "Configure LAN" menu. This setting affects both LAN and Wi-Fi. In fact in the latest software version the menu name changes to "Configure LAN(Wi-Fi)" when Wi-Fi is enabled.

The problem with that Dave is because my router requires a static IP from the dongle I cannot get W-Fi to activate in the first place.
I will try setting the IP in the router and see if I can get around it that way.
