I've just discovered, and fixed, an incorrectly mapped channel in the Brisbane region that would have been causing Nine's guide and recordings to show and record on GO! and vice versa if viewing/recording the channels on 91 and 93.

Channels 9 and 99 were correct. It only affected the new channel numbers (LCNs) 91 and 93.

This only affected Brisbane and not the retransmitted channels from the Gold Coast or the Sunshine Coast.

If you have a T4, T2 or T3 Beyonwiz and you pickup the Brisbane channels from Brisbane you should restart it from 'Menu > Power > Reboot'.

Just about to start a thread on this, when I noticed the subject in the list !

Actually, it DOES affect the retransmitted channels from the SUNSHINE COAST.

In the EPG on the T2:-
Channel 91 shows the GO! programs.
Channel 93 is absolutely empty.
Channel 99 also shows the GO! programs

9 & 90 & 92 & 94 are correct. (so is 99)

Hi mac37,

You remember how to get the channel triplet id numbers off the T series Beyonwiz PVRs? (the same as you did for 7, 7two and 7mate before Christmas)

Can you reply with the id numbers for 90, 9, 91, 92, 93, 94 and 99. And 95 if you have it.

  • Exit any menus, EPGs and guides etc. i.e. Go to live TV.
  • Change channel to one of those channels.
  • Go to 'Menu > Information > Service'.
  • Once you are in the 'Information > Service' menu, press the Green button.
  • *Now note the TSID, ONID and SID details shown for this channel.
  • Repeat steps 1 to 5 for the other channels.
* Note: The ID numbers are made of digits from 0 to 9 and letters from A to F. Don't mistake up a B for an 8 or a D for an 0 or vice versa.

Then reply in the following format:

9 Brisbane:
592.500 MHz
TSID: 0x0400
ONID: 0x1012
SID: 0x0401
LCN: 9

9 GO:
592.500 MHz
TSID: 0x0400
ONID: 0x1012
SID: 0x040B
LCN: 93

9 Gem:
592.500 MHz
TSID: 0x0400
ONID: 0x1012
SID: 0x040A
LCN: 92

Sorry, I forgot to tell you. Your triplets for the "nines" match what is in our system for the 'Sunshine Coast'. And they also match for 7two-QLD and 7mate (you should NOT be using '7mate on Prime').

Someone else just had unexplainable failed timers with the no matching service error message. The solution (after much trial and error) was to Reboot the Beyonwiz from the Power menu then rerun the IceTV Setup Wizard. Finally, resend all recordings.

The lengthy trial and error resolving this issue for them prompted me to write a knowledgebase article:

Having trouble accessing this link Dave.....

I've edited the link, and formatted it as a hyperlink now... but still when I click on it nothing happens. I need to right-click on it and 'open in new tab'.

Interesting. I just put a space after the link and now I can click on it !?!?

Thank you for the info.
For the channel nine GO! problem, and the 7TWO-QLD problem (YES I have ignored 7mate on prime).
I have gone the whole hog and followed the full instructions - performing the dummy scan, and then the full scan (clear = yes).
Then the re-boot and the running of the IceTV Setup Wizard etc.

The result is that, in the EPG, Channel 91 is still showing programs for GO! ( I have even tried setting 9 Brisbane as 91 in "my Account").
Needless to say that the channel that scans as 91, does actually show channel 9 (Bris) programs.

As far as 7TWO-QLD goes, despite your advice in our email support conversation, that it really belongs to Townsville, you just stated that the triplets are correct for the Sunshine Coast. But I still get a "No matching service" failure to schedule.

If the triplets are (obviously) different for 7TWO (Brisbane) and 7TWO-QLD, and also, if you state that the LCNs do not feature in the recording channel allocation on the BW T2, and that it is based only on the triplets, then why, if I change the LCN for 7TWO (Bris) to 62 (Sunshine Coast 72), does it schedule the recording on channel 62 ?

I have reset "My Account" to the way you set it, during our support email session. (7TWO as 62 and 7TWO_QLD as disabled !), in other words I have given up !!

BUT - I am grateful that you managed to sort out 7 Bris (LCN 7) and 7 QLD (LCN 6) successfully.

Kind regards

Since it flows on from the "no matching service" discussion, I will include this one in this thread.

I have just received a "No matching service" for "Animal super parents" on WIN, at 8:00PM on Sunday 24th. I usually record these things on 9HD now, and it IS scheduled successfully on 9HD.
Somehow it was scheduled for WIN as well, at the same time. Maybe because I did not specify a particular network ( Nine or WIN) - don't know.

Since I had "escape to the country" scheduled at 8:30, I'm supposing that the overlap with padding would have meant that it was really a "timer conflict". Not sure about that either.

I have just scheduled other stuff on WIN as a test, with no problems.

PS You are still pumping out GO! programs against channel 91 !! (I don't really care though !)  ::)
